Absolutely. He's effectively said to Shaul "here's your chance" and the lad has taken it with both hands. He should be a certainty for Wembley. Likewise the same scenario for Jason. If Tom's not fit then we've got to go like for like.

I actually think he's got a bit of Tom Lineham attitude. Lets get at 'em and enjoy ourselves. He's not affected if he makes a mistake, just gets on with the game (and scores tries).

one thing you need at Wembley is pace and he's got it he might make a mistake but he brings a lot to our attacking options like said he could just be a ace in the hole on the day, hope tom makes it massive or us this year but if not good luck Jason, Horney still has a boot on think he has had a set back so do not think he will be in contention shame Mr hull fc may miss out this time

Good post. Agree with most of that and would have agreed with all of it if we weren't playing Wigan at Wembley. My concern being that tactically, Crookes vs. Richards, in respect of the attacking cross field kick, is the RL equivalent of putting Dot from Eastenders in the ring with Mike Tyson. A complete mismatch that I think would cost us dear. So for that reason alone, I would stick Whiting on the wing for the next two and then bring Crookes in to finish the season (unless we play Wigan again of course).

I don't know where this guy heard that but I would tend to believe him tbh.

Look bad and I would be surprised if he features again this year and amazed if he makes Wembley which is a real shame.

If that's true which I suspect it is, then I'm absolutely gutted for him. It's a huge blow for us but imagine how the lad must feel, he'll be distraught. Losing crooks AND lineham is borderline disastrous IMO, as a few have alluded too though, Shaul could be our secret weapon.
