| We say it every week but we are absolutely crying out for some second row presence back. Really like Hardaker and how hard he works but he's just not a threat at the line. Our red zone attack will improve greatly once we get Cartwright and Lane back. I feel defences at the moment simply don't worry about our 2nd row and know that the dummy runners are just exactly that, and can afford to ignore them and just keep sliding preparing for the ball out the back. Cartwright will 100% put doubt in the defences mind and attract defenders, giving us the space on the edge. Had enough good ball to still win that game around the 65 minute mark and just didn't look create enough. Too much trying to power over and when we did spread it it was just easily covered.

| Desperate for some bodies back, played virtually with two subs, Fash seemed to play about 10 minutes and Rapana injured. That last set for the try they went the full length in 5 tackles,, we looked gone.

The problem is, we can't do anything about it, if they're out injured. We have to go with what we've got in reserve. We're doing it tough right now and it's not gonna get any easier in the next two away games. Still plenty of race left to go though, and we certainly look like a team that's gonna fight for one of those play-off spots. I think most of us would have taken that at the start of season. Who knows what we could do if we got our strongest 13 on the field.

| Custs best moments was running from dummy half and his defence. I'd be looking at playing him 9 with Bourouh, Pryce to 6 and Rapana to 1.
That's very dependent on Rapanas injury, will definitely miss next week and Zac back at centre.
But something to think about for the future.

| Hard defeat to take ....Still gutted by this one ....Just one tackle away ....B ugger ......But it is a rebuild in progress.....What we all wanted this year was players fighting and having pride in the jersey. ....We have that .....

| I think we need to stop with the 'its a lot better than last season' now. Last season was a disgrace and shouldn't be a measure of anything. Over the last month I'd say our performances are back at the mediocre level of when Hodgson was here which still isn't good enough.
While Bell/Bachelor/Hill will be good additions I think the squad needs some further surgery or 2026 risks being another year of dreaming of the next year. Some attacking threat is badly needed in the centres for starters.

We had a week off so the tiredness is worrying. We are short in the 2nd row but let's not pretend the players sat in the stands are superstars. It's an antique Watts and Holmes, Lane who most are happy is moving on. Jed is good and a miss but we haven't seen him string 3 games in a row. There are also fit options such as Balmforth that seems Cartwright doesn't want to play. It was strange to name the same 13 given such a flat performance at Magic.

| Bit harsh to say we are as mediocre as under Hodgeon..... One more tackle and we would be 4 in the league .....I think people are expecting to much in a way ....Most had us in the bottom 3.....Yes we are in a bit of a losing run but way of from last year .... We are not good enough with the players we have to challenge the top 4/5.....Still think we might be around 6/7/8.....It's a building project on an upwards curve ......Let's get behind them ......

Leeds away isn't a gimme. We were about 90 seconds away from it, so even "mediocre" as you say is giving us a chance right now.

| Neither team creative in attack but FC were good in defence. Glad to hear Rapana is up and about. That was a worrying situation
