so have pat richards,tommy lueluai and michael monaghan,are you saying these players would be dismissed just incase it happens again.
There are very few players who don't miss a chunk here and there.

One bad injury that delayed his start to this seasons campaign
What about Heramaia, Tickle, Moa, Westy? All had long absences this season due to injury. Not saying it's not a bit of a gamble because it is, but just because he missed 35% of games in 2012 dosen't mean the same will happen next season.
Wouldn't surprise me if PG rests him quite often anyway, similar to the way Wire protect Brett Hodgson, and keep him fresh for the "big games" and the derby.

I thought tha player that have been with us for more than 10years and had a testamonial didnt count towards the cap..
Might be way off the mark tho.. can anyone pls confirm..! |

A little off the mark, each club is allowed a maximum of 50k off the cap for players who have been at the club for 10 years and a maximum of 50% of each players wage. |

Personally i think its a great signing. And yes its a gamble with his age and perhaps he may get injured, on the other side wise old head and may go through the whole season fit.Either way his knowledge will be invaluable
