| I reckon its fair to say that weather pass sales this year are a success or not depends on overall sales figures for super league. If pass sales in general are down and so are ours then its the economy, if pass sales in general stay the same or go up and ours are down then its because fans aren't happy with the club.
Obviously you have to forget about Bradford for this one.

| Whilst it won't be good for the club economically, I think a drop in season pass sales will put a bit of pressure on the club to perform on the field.
After the last few years of dour rugby, that won't be a bad thing.

| how can we moan about a small drop in season tickets, there is another 5 or 6 clubs who would love half the amount we sell

5000th pass holder will recieve
Quote: "The lucky recipient of pass 5000 will receive the treat of a lifetime with full VIP treatment for a game at the KC Stadium for them and the family, including a perfectly prepared meal in the Circle Restaurant alongside the legendary Johnny Whiteley, the chance to meet some Hull FC first-team stars and their very own signed Hull FC shirt! So don’t miss out'"
Bit of a poor show from the club, the people who renew year in year out miss out on the chance because they got their passes early. I know they are doing it to boost sales but it is a bit of a kick in the teeth for the ones who bought early.

Surefire sign that sales are down sufficiently on last year to make them concerned about it

I agree they are sounding a bit concerned now.
no surprise after the lack of a new half-back, the recession, the disappointing end to the season, and the general lack of faith in Agar.
If we hadn't splashed out on Westerman I reckon sales would have been even slower.

Pass sales were always going to be lower this year. A few factors
1, No success on the field
2, No major signings
3, Poor style of play
4, Poor coach
5, Financial climate
6, No backup halfback for the umpteenth year running

| I like the financial climate one.
The apologists speak of amazing value of passes, £17 a game, they refuse to acknowledge the £24 gate price.
Do people think passes are not bought so people would rather pay £24 on the gate?
And as for lack of success, people were creaming their kegs saying how good the season was compared to 2009. We have progressed, just a little.
If we had gone backwards i could fully understand a 10% drop in sales.
