Thorman, and for that matter Calderwood, are suffering a bit because some fans had already decided they were cr@p before the first game. So when the team plays cr@p they cop it even though there were players who played far worse.

I think we have already made moves for one for 2010, hopefully we will be on the ball with this signing.

With the correct tactics Thorman and Horne can take us a long way this season.

Disagree. Thorman has the ability to throw it wide, keep it tight and vary his kicking game. He is not at fault for our boring 5 drives and a kick. He is fantastic at executing a game plan, he just keeps getting given the wrong one.

I kow you like your old fashioned 13, I do to in some ways. The fact is Horne and Thorman are not SH's, they can do a job there especially Thorman but they don't dictate games the way a top SH does.

Maybe playing a ball handling 13 would help the both out?

Against Quins I could imagine it due to they way they play and the conditions, it made more sense. They could still have drawn and passed from time to time, they managed it for the Yeaman try well enough didn't they?
