There's a pretty good highlights video that Catalans have done on YouTube. Definitely a one on one steal at the end. Only thing was the ball went backwards from Catalans so it should have been play on when Talanoa picked it up again, but it's the same outcome.

The ball also came out really quickly when shaul "dropped" it near the end so was wondering if that was stripped but was across near the west stand

Looked to me like the ball was still spinning in his arms and he ended up pelting it off his torso when he accelerated.

Just check youtube - the Catalans post that Mr Z Head mentions above. It is more obvious on there that it is a strip - he caught it before it came out. The ref and touch judge seems to have seen it that way and they were pretty close to the action.

totally agree It was a ball steal by Talanoa who initially dropped it but was then facing his own line so was backwards so as said above should have been play on.

Since they entered Super League, the Catalans team have engaged in "cynical" rugby and terrible sportsmanship. Last year they tried on THREE occasions to seriously injure Leon. Duport last night was just out to hurt. I'm glad the Gallic Onionchomper is "un'appy".

We tried it at Wakefield but stuffed it up about time players were taught the rules properly it's out of scrum when passed second rows feet so holding at loose FWD is pointless as defending team can move up and go for ball! But holding in 2nd row they can't encroach.

Same as 20m optional kick it only has to be tapped with knee or below but we constantly see players IE j shaul falling over themselves trying to tap it with the foot

1 you have to get foot planted 1st
2 it has to be moving or else it's a goaline dropout ,we have come close s cpl of times in the past to conceding a gldo trying to do this !
