He's not at his peak anymore, but certainly has rugby left in him.

So the sock fest continues, so far this last week we've had:



Manu is ok for some, not too old, but too old for others

Pryce not too old

Tahu is not too old



Moi Moi IS too old for some





FFS why are we even considering anyone over 32.



We should have got out of this when Uncle Kath did one. The days of 2 year deals for 32 and 33 year old should be long dead.

This is exactly the attitude that has killed Hull in recent times, both FC and as a City.



Why is there a lack of ambition in some quarters to be the best. Hull (FC and the City) has [ieverything[/i in it's favour, just small town small time thinking lets us down.

21 players under the age of 25 in our first team squad isn't a bad comparison to most of our fellow SL opponents.

You cant just have a team of young kids though, experience is needed along side them

He was in great form when he left and was one of the most destructive runners in Super League, so much so that the club reportedly made him a fantastic contract offer to try to keep him. That's also why Saints wanted him and they don't sign players at the "sunset" of their career.



He has not replicated that form at Saints although I believe that in the first season they were not making the best use of him.



I believe that had he stayed at Hull his form would have been better than it has been for Saints.



However he is now at the "sunset" of his career which is why we should not re-sign him.

it'll be OK, next season Rich can teach our halves how to kick to the defence, and give a drop off inside pass.

joking aside, I hope Rich proves to be a great coach, he had the ability, we just didn't see it often enough. Maybe because he was making stacks of tackles per game (as I have mentioned in another thread).
