| Did anyone see the full "incident"?
I was not far from it, and I saw one pint of beer being thrown, a minor scuffle which the stewards resolved in probably half a minute, and 2 Leeds fans being escorted out. Also a Leeds teenage girl with King Kev 13 on her shirt marching along the front of the West Terrace at the end giving us all 2 one-fingered salutes and screeching at the top of her voice before being accosted by 3 stewards and escorted out. Webb also gave us the W****r" gesture too. I'm not excusing anyone that behaved badly, but would like to know some facts, as all we have so far is that the crowd was boisterous and no arrests were made.

| The only thing I saw was after the Mcguire try where a confrontation bewtween the Leeds players and a couple of supporters occurred. Resulting in one fan being ejected by the stewards.

I know it's challenging for you, but the reason I was asking people what actually went on was that all I saw in terms of people being escorted out were 2 Leeds fans then the girl at the end. I've not said FC fans weren't involved, have I, you numpty? I was asking what went on. From the HDM article you would infer it was FC fans only that were involved. That's 100% not the case but of course doesn't excuse in any way any wrongdoing by FC fans. I'm just asking what they were as are there were no arrests, and behaviour described as "boisterous".

| My 16 yr old was at the front he said, first Webb swore at the crowd, the crowd went mental and one bloke tried to jump the barrier ...then he saw a drunk swaying about and a bald guy shouted at his mate to get him, his mate did and was punching him the drunk was escorted out. Then a Leeds fan walked in front of the faithful kissing his badge again the crowd went mental and another guy jumped the barrier and punched him, the Leeds fan was escorted out.

They were pretty close to us and it wasnt too nasty really, pushing and shoving mainly. To cut a long story short a few fans had been singing obscene songs through the game which had already caused a couple of arguments with another group of fans, then when one of them threw a bottle some of the others jumped on him, there was a bit of a scuffle and a couple of them got dragged off by stewards. Nothing too sinister, just a few scambags who cant handle their ale dragging our reputation through the gutter yet again.
Didnt see what went on near the front.

| I was on the left of the big hut thing so couldn't see this 'incident'.
But, what I did see was 2 bottles of Magners get thrown after the McGuire try, looked to be aimed at Thaler to me as it was just after the drive into touch penalty.
1 idiot then got on the pitch from the left and started giving it big at Bailey, who just stood and laughed at him. He was taken out.
A Leeds fan was walking infront of the WT with about 5 minutes to go, the bloke sat on the wall at the front was giving him grief, the Leeds fan tried to headbutt him and there was a small scuffle, and both got taken out. A bottle of beer got thrown then too, probably at the pair of them.
At the end a Leeds fan walked in front of the Hull fans giving us the finger, a Hull fan ran after them and the Leeds fan got taken out.
Was how I saw it!

| From what i could see, a few hull fans didn't take too kindly to Maguire and Delaney celebrating Maguires try and decided to throw beer bottles at the Leeds players. This is why Webb made gestures to the crowd.
It looked to me like the "fighting" started because someone stood up to the idiots that were throwing bottles after they'd embarrassed our club.
I left the ground feeling slightly ashamed at the way some of our "supporters" acted tonight.
I'm just glad that it was just a minority and I would hope the majority agree that it is not what we want to see.
I do however think the RFL need to look into the gestures that Webb was making to the crowd.

| Statement on the HDM from West Yorkshire Police.
"The whole crowd was a bit boisterous but nothing of major concern to us. It was nothing we would class as serious trouble."
Despite that various posters have rushed in to comment 'brought shame on the city of Hull ... disgrace ... numerous bannings '

Hopefully the bottle-throwers will get identified and banned. That's just 100% unacceptable, throwing missiles at players. And it would be mitigating circumstances for Webb IMO. What a cr@ppy evening it's turned out to be. Bottle-throwing, embarrassing performance on the pitch, injury to Whiting, finding out Phelps wasn't informed face to face about the decision to release him.

| One of my worst days as a Hull fan today and not because of the performance and result. I was sat in the North Stand towards the away end and watched on as a couple of over-sized FC fans threatened a couple of Leeds families when they asked them to tone down their incesvent swearing in front of their kids. Two of the families walked out on the 60 minute mark.
I saw the bottle throwing incident, which was appalling, but the fighting seemed to be in response to a couple of Leeds idiots goading Hull fans as they walked by. I saw the lanky lad who was with an older fella swing at a Hull fan and then stewards jumped in and did a pretty good job.
