First one is the correct call. The second one is wrong as it was the Saints player (Dixon) who knocked the ball backwards towards Manu so it should have been play on and not a penalty.

You can have all the oppinions you like,the fact is it went to the video ref and was dissallowed so whatever your view of it doesnt matter its been chalked off and you can argue about from now till doomsday it wont change the fact it was dissallowed.

I am no fan of Ganson,but to be fair ,I don`t think he can be accused of bias.

It was deemed to have been pulled out of fosters hand in a one on one resulting in the ball going forward off the hull players hand (Horne I think). I think it was correct decision.

However, I think the pen that leads to foster kicking the goal to get the draw was the wrong decision.

I come on these forums to talk rugby,i like the Hull/Saints games especially as they are A. usually good games.B. played in a good spirit and C. I enjoy the rapport we have with the Hull fans and the common sense of rugby league community we both have with regard to Steve Prescott.

In this case its all well and good to have an oppinion but its been refered to the video ref and in his "oppinion" its no try.I appreciate that some people dont thik it was the right call but come the end of the day its not something that can be changed by peoples oppinion.

It was a hard fought game and could of gone eitherway,from a Hull point of view 5 points out of 6 over Easter isnt a bad reward.

Thanks for the good wishes brook and it's a mutual return from me but sport IS about opinions. I know the decisions have been made but it doesn't mean we have to like them. If we all agree with every decision the officials make then there'd be little or no point for forums like these to exist. I think good games between Hull and Saints are almost guaranteed. So, Foster running onto the ball, with his hand a yard away from his body, (only touching the ball, not with his thumb around it) is in control? Shocking decision, only thing more shocking is the fact that it wasn't Ganson that made it.

The fact that Foster had his hand on the ball and was gathering it into his chest shows he was controlling the ball.

If Horne had knocked Fosters arm causing the ball to come free then it [imay[/i have been deemed a loose carry, but Horne knocks the actual ball away from Foster and it goes forward in the direction Horne was running.

The last 2 calls were wrong, but this one I thought was right.

Agree totally. I think Foster had control of the ball and was pulling it in. In this case it was a 1 on 1 ball steal by Horne that went forward = knock on.

You can`t run if in neutral bud.
