Quite right perhaps we should get straight what happened here though. I contacted an emloyee of the organisation concerned with setting uop the scheme for Rovers to find out about it to do an article in a future Dentists Diary. Read the article in the Mail again we are no one of the clubs interested, we apparently rang the organisation that is running it for Rovers, out of interst to see what it entails not to say we were intersted in having such sceme. In the future who knows but at present it is just mischief making thats all!

If we do got for it, it is not all roses and Ihope we consider the hidden costs of connecting the turnstyles to the system and the software implications that entails, it is quite costly and can be easily missed I believe!!!!

So there's no need for a seperate scheme, thats kind of my point.

Hope this is discussed at th fans forum and put to bed as had been mentioned. I'd be strongly against this.

Its like saying to buy car insurance from x company you need to be a member of x companies private scheme. It does then give you discounts on other products from x company. What ifi dont want other products from x company but simply want my car insurance?

the whole point in my argument is that you have to spend more cash to gain the " benefits"...complete bollax in my view...

Entirely valid POV. However membership would always be only an option - its not like clubs are going to stop selling tickets (the equivalent of basic insurance cover in your simile) to non-members. Also sports clubs and their supporters have a different relationship than other businesses and their customers. Somebody is unlikely to buy a Rovers season ticket, but buy their RL replica shirt from Hull FC. If you don't want additional products, don't join the scheme.

You know what the HDM is like though, another cheap excuse for a story, trying to portray HKR as 'market leaders' with their brand new overwhelming product which every rugby club on the planet will want to follow suit with !!
