Im sorry but I have had to question every players commitment to this club at one point or another this season and that does include Horney i'm afraid !

but he's having a poor season, and I don't care how long he's played for the club or where he's from, he's meant to be an international, one of our best players (with no doubt wages to match) yet he is barely noticeable these days.
I don't think he lacks commitment, but he just isn't doing it for us at the minute.'"
Spot on with that.

I think there's no doubt that the weight he's lost due to his injury has affected his defence. As far as the rest of his game is concerned, he seems to be struggling with not having an organiser again. We've seen his game collapse before when he gets too much responsibility.
Since we aren't going to fix that problem until next season we either have to hope he can pull himself together, move him to FB where he has less responsibility, or maybe even drop him for a game or two and see if he comes back refreshed.

| Quote: HFC8280 "Yeah I was there I drove! Typical response from the blue eyed boy supporters! His kicking was poor again and I am struggling to remember a single kick that stayed in the field of play or didn't get caught by the full back or winger on the full. He missed the one on one tackle for the first try which was a major turning point in the game. He is shocking in attack wrong options every week poor kicking and defence this year is proving to be suspect. Watch the replay of the leeds game and see how many tackles he drops off. Leeds score three tried from his poor effort. I do take your point that he wasn't the only one to make errors today but just feel too many people are pointing fingers at anybody but richard horne when the truth is he is not playing any where near to his best!'"
didn't mention he had a good game did i?
kicking the ball behind the dead ball line on a hot day like today isn't a bad option, when he did manage to keep one in play, matt king had to force a drop out to stop a certain try from g horne

| Horne had a poor game today, but I think its unfair to say he's had a poor season. Admittedly he hasnt been firing on all cylinders of late, but lets be honest, theres only really 2-3 players that are playing consistantly well for us atm.

| We make it far too easy for sides to send their second rowers at Horne, Rich and Graeme should switch positions to lessen his work load in defence.

| before anyone has a dig for 'trolling' this is just my opinion.
not seen much of your lot this season but the sky games have shown that in general, your pack doesnt get as much momentum as others, any half back would struggle behind a struggling pack.
You dont become a bad player over night. horne hasnt, a dip in form of himself and the pack is struggling, lets face it, he's not the only one not playin up to scratch.
And no dig at the end that you was probably expectin. I'm a rugby league fan, not a point scoring div that we see too often on here

| Richard Horne is a professional sportsman who was diagnosed withe type 1 diabetes only last year. I was diagnosed with the same condition 11 years ago after losing 3 stones in weight over a short period. The inital feeling is one of relief when you are told you don't have the big c but the effect this condition has on your everyday life is huge. Trying to balance blood sugar levels while training as a full time sportsman will be very difficult for Rich and his energy levels will also be affected. Its gonna take him some time to adjust, more than he has had already and i realise that for non diabetics this will be difficult to understand. Every physical exerstion, different ambient temperatures and different foods all have an effect on the bood sugar which is normally regualted by the pancreas. We diabetics have to learn to regulate our sugar levels ourselves. He just needs the time to come to terms wth this and i'm sure he will be back to his best.

| After having a very good first 4 games, Hornes been rubbish ever since at halfback. He did good at fullback but even then I think his performances were been overhyped. He's not as bad as Thorman but he really needs a kick up the backside

People so quick to point the finger at Thorman but for me Horne has been poor all season. Why is nobody calling for Horne to be dropped like Thorman? Is his commitment to his testamonial more important to him that putting in a proper shift on a weekend for our team?'"
Just another who has any shred of condfidence ripped out of him by poor coaching!
