I never made some grand gesture to say that I would stop reading his posts, I just said that I usually don't. I have a bit more time on my hands than usual today. Maybe the old saying is true, and the devil really does make work for idle hands.

We have the stats debate on here fairly regularly and they can pretty much be interpreted in whatever way they want. Whats a tackle bust for example? I believe a tackle bust may be when a player drops off a tackle but without making a clean break. Lauaki's handoff is therefore going to give him loads of tackle breaks. Doesnt mean it's the best stat though. I'd rather he ran his weight and topped the clean breaks stat. |

He beats willi on that stat!! So although stats are not the be all and end all,they can make good points,ie hame is difficult to tackle,therefore usefull to the team as a whole. Even if he isn't firing on all cylinders at the mo! Which makes it exciting to think about when he is! Hopefully in time for playoffs!

100% agree, and it's still true of a few players despite our improvement this season (imagine how good we could be!). I think Lauaki is one who definitely deserves a bit more time though. |
