| Quote: The Key "You say each to their own, yet then say how you think Agar will have thought, and also insinuate that Thorman will have felt a certain way.
Lets just say for the sake of this argument it was Thorman himself getting booed before the game, theres no way of telling how he could react. It could batter his confidence, it could stir him up and give him determination, it could do bugger all. It all depends on his character'"
When I said each to their own I meant the fans and the decision to boo or not.
Given that Thorman already is playing with zero confidence I doubt it would have helped and you have already stated how poorly he played so it obviously did not work.
Lets make it easy for you, if I were Agar and heard the boos I would be thinking they were booing for the player, not singing the praises of TL. If I were CT I would feel like the crowd were completely against me and it would probably affect my game.
Its personal choice to boo or not, boo him at the end of the game or for dropping those two balls and it's more understandable.
Like I said it's like the Kearney incident all over again.

Exactly. Anyone in that position would think the same.

| I think it is disgusting the way Tommy Lee has been treated at times. It all started when as a young lad he was asked to play scrum half with a lot of responsibility on his shoulders and came in for a lot of critisism. I think he is a player suited to the more free role of loose forward or hooker. He has excellent passing skills and is a great tackler. I don't know why he was continued to be made a scapegoat and why everything always seems to be his fault. He probably did a far better job at scrum half than Thorman ever will, how he was dropped for Thorman I can't understand, who is just pathetic and can't tackle for toffee. If he is to be released, he will definitely go to another SL club where his qualities as a player will be valued and will be able get one over his old employers for his poor treatment and being under valued as a player.

Evening Mr Lee
TBF I agree he has been treated badly by some fans and not given the credit he deserves. I would keep him as I've said on many occasions.

What exactly do you mean by this as not good that good. Do you mean not as good as other players in his positions at the club or in the league. He is one of the few players at the club at the present time who will bust a gut every time he pulls on the jersey, after all it is a club he has supported since he was young. OK he may not be that good in terms of international standard but he is well above average. If he is not that good, why did Swain and Kearney rate him as one of the most promising youngsters they have known. I think loose forward is a position that would suit Tommy at Hull where he could have the freedom to express his abilities plus he wouldn't shirk the defensive graft in the middle. I don't know how you can play someone like Radford at loose forward who just provides a running game for the position rather than the skills needed for the pivotal position that it is. OK when Washbrook and Houghton/Berrigan are fit he may be behind these two but when injuries strike he is a player to turn to because of his ability to cover several key positions. I do not see it a wise decision to release a player like him. C'mon nobeerineasthull if he is not that good surely you don't remember a few years back when you beat Saints at the KC in 2007 and Horne and Lee were the half backs, I believe Tommy had a blinder that day and that was without Paul Cooke. On the day Saints were at full strength and you were having a dip in form. Maybe you won't have the same view when he comes up trumps against you lot if he is not there next year.

Yes folks, Lee is THAT good he is attracting the interest of.....Salford.
Nice guy, probably, good "club man", seems to be, future member os a top 4 squad, nope.
Seriously, all this sentiment needs to stop, or we will forever be mid-table. (and I am sure some would settle for that)

You never know, he could be a rovers player nest year, it is not out of the question. Then he will be a member of a top four squad I know a few rovers fans who would see him as a useful signing and they do have a knack of signing ex FC players. All the ones they have released who have gone to Rovers have done a good job, Briscoe . Arguably Cooke but Chester provided the experience in their first season and for someone who was injury prone they got more than their fair share of games out of him and when fit he was an excellent player and it was a shame he had to retire the way he did. It always seems that the most injury prone players are the ones that could make the most impact. Scott Wheeldon after playing his way in is doing a fine job as well, he does not do anything fancy but gets through a lot of work and and is unfazed by some of the monster hits he has taken. Anyone who says he is too small for a prop is completely wrong, he has got to be 16 stone at least and has some real upper and lower body bulk.

I can't see him getting on very well with Ben Cockayne in the circumstances.
