But the difference is that these are players in the pulic eye - the likes of you and me are not. They are 'celebreties' of the sport and anything they do is under scrutiny - rightly or wrongly. As players in the public eye they seem to forget (especially when they have had a belly full of ale) that their actions are very likely to be exposed.
The fans of the club are constantly banging on about how the club does nothing about drinking, behaviour etc. now, when something has allegedly happened, people are asking why the club has mentioned it ??
Sometimes the club is damned if it does and damned if it does'nt. Hopefully, this time, the club will send out a message to others who act innapropriately.
