Lewis Martin is becoming a superstar. Sezer the half back we have craved since Sneyd left. Hardaker strong as an ox. Bourouh excellent. I though Cust was reallt good too, a tough ask to come up against Nsemba.

Asiata also contributed some key passes.

But every single player is fitter and more commited and full credit to Cartwright 

Outstanding result. I'm glad we got them in the end because I thought we deserved it and was the better team.


Play like that each round of the cup and we could get another big day out.

Hardaker came up with one of the match winning plays for me. Just collected the kick near the end and dribbled a little kick down the touchline, let us put the Wigan man into touch and get the ball back up their end.

Said both Hardraker and Sezer were good signings.

But what a signing Cartwright is.

Its a bit of a question of lets not get carried away... but I'm afraid I have. All we asked for was passion and wanting when we started and boy this lot don't now the meaning of your 16 behind at the quadruple trophy holders, its a never say die attitude unheard of since the 2017 season. So proud of that lot tonight certainly shook the sport up big style. 

Congrats - in the second half Hull ran harder and played with far more intensity and got the rewards. Sezer, Ese Ese and Martin were brilliant. A kick up the backside for Wigan -when Jai Field went off it came apart and they need to be better than that. Can't win them all - good luck in the next round.

So good to see a Hull team with a bit of pride and passion again

It's still early in the season but Cartwright seems to have pumped the team full of pride and confidence. Long may it continue
