| Quote: Lang Park "Well I thought that was a cracking game. Some good tries and the result wasn't certain until the final minute or so.
Yes we are a bit predictable and could desperately do to diversify our kicking game but the lads gave it everything tonight and were unlucky against a top side with a real monster in Inu.
Think we were only a couple of Fonua howlers away from a result, in spite of all the woe on here.'"
I love Inu, fantastic player.

| To be honest had it not been for some poor decisions and errors then the game was more than winnable.
Think Ian Watson summed up the difference it’s all about attitude and working hard for each other. I’m not sure as a team that the attitude is right and Andy Last for me references that by saying they aren’t working hard enough. I felt for Last tonight individually we have a good and talented squad but as a team they are miles off. Even Phil Clarke who normally spouts drivel noted our passing is poor.

No sarcasm. I genuinely enjoyed the game, aside from the result.
Think Salford are a lot better than their league form would suggest. They've played class both times against us and their victory over Catalans in the cup was well deserved.

| As a club we are shot in confidence. Its almost like weve forgotten how to play rugby. Radfords coaching has killed us and now weve got Last trying to change things but not really knowing how to
We look lost on the field. We look the worst coached team in SL. Not Lasts fault, tbh more Pearsons for letting Radford continue in his role about two seasons too long
We need a new beginning

I would tend to agree that under Radfords coaching and philosophy have been lacking and set us back and AP should have been much less sentimental and let him go last season.
In terms of Andy Last/Kieron Purtill I think it’s far to early to say one way or the other. They have taken over and faced an almighty challenge that no other coach has or will ever face in terms of what’s happened as soon as he took over.
He took over then had no access to the squad for 3 months to work with them and implement his ideas and make changes. To then face the positive tests the team suffered and witch hunt that ensued which again hampered what they could do. Then add to that that the injuries and fixtures in such short turn around a means he & Purtill have hardly actually had much time or quality time to be able to really get stuck in to making sweeping changes.
It’s very tough and difficult times and with no end in sight from the current covid situation and the perilous state of the sport and it won’t hurt to look at things from another perspective before acting. Even if we’d have had a top class coach come in at the same time as Andy Last took over the reins I’m not sure there’d have been any significant change either due to the same reasons.
He’s proved so far he is a guy prepared to make big decisions and drop players no matter who they are if they are not performing.

| Just about to watch the game
Should I use my morning off to watch ??
Last is out of his depth - no point in slagging the players
It’s starts with the coach and he’s simply so far out of his depth
I don’t take any notice of posters blaming players
If Fonua went to Saints we’d Shiite ourselves as he’d play in a proper system
We are at Full Cap and have good youngsters
It’s the coaching. Please don’t write “Bin 6 players”
We’ve been changing players for years and it barely does anything
Ian Watson at Reds is an example of polishing the cat turd of you like. Reds aren’t anywhere near full cap and they made the GF and are in the CC semi final and no one would like to play them currently
It’s Almost always the Coach
Mourinho wins the European Cup with Porto !!
Do Lasty a favour and move him and a few long term back room staff on
Give KP the last 7 games, with Gaz E as asst , and then
see how we go as the game is in real danger as a sport.
When and only when AP has clarity do we sign a world class coach.

Connor should revert now back to right centre,Carlos back to left centre and move Griffin onto the bench
No reason now not to give McNamara a bit of a run.
If there was a possibility to move Connor on for a fee i would as he is overhyped and overrated.
A fee for Connor and Jones with their salaries off the books would really help because the team priority has to be a running half with some pace

| Inu first try
Shaul really looked like a poor full back
His positioning and attempt was so poor !
He should have shown him the wing

It was a big ask, but it was one that Andy Last believed he could do.
For my money I think Adam Person should have had a high qualified coach to take over before getting rid of Radders.

| Think we’re paying the price of hanging onto Radford a year too long.
