| Quote: Uppo58 "Agree with your Miller comments.
I would add also that I think Gentle put him in too early, we all hoped the young budding starlet from West's would be an instant hit, but the more Gentle persevered the more Miller struggled and his form drifted the wrong way.
Actually I felt sorry for the kid, so young, making a brave move across the world, joining a club who were waiting for "the one" after so many false starts.
The lad was instantly placed in a high pressure situation and I don't think that cauldron helped him one bit. He had his moments but he was never quite the answer.
I was sad to see him go, as there was obviously a player in there somewhere, but his salary determined time would not be on his side with his tenure at Hull FC. Whilst he probably was glad of the move just to let himself catch his breath and start again.
I don't think he changed that much in his first season at Trinity, but his time since then has seen him develop into a very good half indeed. I think there is less pressure at Belle Vue, and he has profited massively from that, building his game slowly without the expectation of needing to be the instant solution we craved.
I think he's now established as a key playmaker, and a real running threat who can create something out of nothing.
Jacob Miller has served his time now, and has passed a tough test of character, I think he will go on to a more established club in time, where he will make a name for himself and have the success and career we all hoped for with us.
He just wasn't quite ready, and we just never had the time he needed.'"
Spot on.
Another factor as to why Miller didnt work at Hull was he was clearly unfit. His body shape was completely different to what it is now as a wakey player.
Going back to Crooks, we was a one season wonder and was made to look better then he actually was buy Daniel Holdsworth putting him through gaps.

| Albert Kelly is a gentleman, he's earned this contract extension . Hope Gaz Hock knocks his 'ugly sexist' head off on Thursday, then justice will have been served.
Just because he's well known but extremely ugly, doesn't give him the right to speak like he did to the girl in McDonalds.
Hull FC have 'brushed it all under the carpet' then gave him a new contract. Says it all really....

His best years are well behind him and Championship is his level now but he's played pretty well for Fev this year having come in without a pre-season and been unfit at the start, and he has barely conceded a penalty let alone been involved in any shenanigans - and Kelly won't be playing anyway.'"
How is Turgut getting on?

| Never mind Mr Kelly, I see Steve Michaels has been charged with dealing cocaine. Imagine trying to run the Titans with that going on. There were widespread rumours about it, hence my misgivings about Leeds signing Beau Falloon or anyone going near Dave Taylor.

Oh, how the righteous preach!!!
For a fan of a club who employed convicted criminals, who did time, in Chev Walker and Ryan Bailey, I am surprised you'd be bringing anything up!

He was arrested and latterly charged 6 months ago on his arrival back in Australia, do keep up dear boy.
The arrest warrant was not made until he'd already made his debut AND currently he is still innocent until proven guilty, typically for people like you, you presume guilt before a trial before ones peers, shows you up for the total {very rude word removed} that you are. I bet you're the type that would convict someone just by the way they appear.
Whilst at the club he was a model professional, the club did not know about what he was allegedly involved in (before he signed/played) and so far only a recent statement by a friend so he can get himself a reduced conviction is the only 'evidence', this is what the police are relying on because if they had had some actual hard evidence they would have extradited Michaels at the earliest opportunity some three years ago, this has happened a fair few times for drugs cases between Australia and UK.
Whatever the outcome Hull FC are not sullied by it in any way except for sad cases like yourself.
Jog on sonny.
