| I reckon most are over thinking this. Quite simply Powell is looking after the best interests of his squad/team. I doubt he's gives a flying f**k about anyone else and rightly so.

| Whether there is any animosity between Powell and Wane I don't know.
However, when Wigan won the WCC Powell apparently was the only SL coach who didn't contact Wane and congratulate him.

| 5 day turnaround for cas followed by 6 day turnaround, Powell is being sensible and looking after his squad for next week and have earnt the right to do this by being miles ahead.

| Really good to see green back. Him and Bowden together gives us a real rotation of big men. Fash been great tbf to him but doesn't take up the defenders like green does and id not expect him to ,and thommo has been poor tbh. Expected a lot more out of him. Thought he'd be chomping at the bit to show what he can do having missed Wembley and whilst Green out. Been really flat/poor

| powell doesn't want his first choice line up to lose a week before the play offs which is understandable. Personally I'd rather play their full strength team where we'll be fully focused and they'll have an eye on the semi than a team with a fair chunk of fringe players looking to make a play for a place next week

| A sensible decision by Powell. Will be surprised to see him play Webster and with Moors also not there he could have 9 of his preferred team out.
Hull will not lose this one.

| A bit like that game we played at Wigan a couple of years ago with a load of youngsters keen to impress - we almost won as well. Going to be a very difficult challenge. Could be raining too.

Are you trying to wind Tony up already?

| Lots of bad blood between wane and Powell for some reason. So I think gifting Hull a win and ending Wigans season is an added bonus.
If we lost to Hull in the playoffs or the GF, so be it. Hull at their best are certainly good enough to beat cas.
If we lost to Wigan in the playoffs or the GF, I'd be absolutely gutted. Because we are out right better than them.
That's before we go into how much dislike there is for Wigan and the desire to have a new name on the trophy

| My thoughts too, but we can hope! I'm sure every b&w will be watching the game tonight desperately wanting them to win.
I'm surprised they have been so poor given they had a genuine shot at making the playoffs. I can't say I've followed their progress in the last couple of months so not sure what the reason is, apart from running out of gas
