No mewling here, the original post wasn't even aimed at me, I was just pointing out a fact, that there are posters who refuse to accept negative comments about the club and jump on others backs. Its a reality.
All adds to the banter of course.

What's he said? I'm still at work so luckily haven't had to listen to him.

| A brave and committed performance from all the team.
Agree with JTP though, it shows up again how stupid the Academy merger decision is.

| Quote: Kosh "Have to say, as unimpressed as I am with Radford overall you can't argue about the spirit he's engendered among the players.'"
And even though I am a massive critic of Radford I agree.
I also think a big factor is the young players are desperate to impress and get a career in the game, whereas some of the senior members of the squad have been too comfortable for too long Sa & Yeaman being just two examples of players who's best days are long-gone and have put in mediocre displays. Would much rather see an exciting centre with pace like Logan than the likes of those two.

Luckily I had it on mute most of the game but managed to catch the "wigans defence was poor and they really should have put 40-50 on us",credit where it's due eh!

| This was one of the games I enjoyed watching most all season. The energy and commitment was fantastic. Thoroughly entertaining even if we (nearly) didn't win

| Leeds fan here. I was really rooting for your side tonight....and getting genuinely excited at the end. Bluddy marvelous effort from Houghton, Minechello (sp) and Liam Watts supported by a whole host of promising young 'uns.
You should take heed from the route to success from the Leeds club of the last decade and not try to emulate the Leeds misguided attempted route to success of the 80's and 90's.

| Great to see team spirit in abundance and a team with an average age of 21 pushing Wigan all the way. Was expecting a humiliation tbh, credit to all involved to deliver that performance.
I think Logan and Abdull will get real opportunities to cement their places next year, Turgut, Fash Downs etc need an arena to develop in. Logan should get a starting shirt IMO.

| Whilst it is a big pat on the back for tonight it's all so sporadic, one week we have a superb effort and then it goes to shat the next.
There's been maybe 4 games this season when the players have played out of skins, like their life depended on it, sorry but every game needs to be a cup final in the minds of the coach and the players and Radford needs to find a way of getting that mentality instilled every week not just when we are the under-dogs or when the games are dead rubbers.
He also needs to trust in the youth, as i've said before, it's no good giving them one or two games (not even 40 minutes in some instances) over the course of the season then throw them in when the season is done, giving your senior players a break or when they are off form as well as not keep shuffling the team around to cover injury are things he has to understand better. It's how the Leeds and Wigans do it, stand up and be counted lee, let's see your mettle!
As per tonight, we'd rather see some kids thrown in whom are hungry to impress than a senior player just going through the motions and frankly some senior players have done just that this season.
