I work in education and I've been a manager, so I've got a good grasp of the word myself, which is why I've raised am eyebrow at some of the accusations thrown his way. Believe me, I've had enough parents cry to me about bullying for what have been one off incidents (that usually are explainable and often started by the "victim"icon_wink.gif.

I agree if there is a case of singling someone out persistently with no just cause then it could be. I'm not sure about undermining though, depends what sort of thing you are referring to.

You showed an interest in replying to it the first time. You then decided you didn't want to answer it properly.
When you talk about what you say could be classed as bullying, it is entirely relevant to what you posted.


That's fine. I'm of a similar opinion, but gut instinct would tell me he isn't as he wouldn't be where he was for as long as he was if he was a bully. His management of the players is poor, but that doesn't make him a bully.


It has to be persistent though. Bullying isn't a one off thing, it is a continued act. It would have to be persistent. I don't ever see any coach persistently bagging players in the media, just one off occasions on the rare shambolic performance.

Intimidation is a form of bullying, I can imagine Radford been quite intimidating to the younger players. Again not say that is the case, but could be an explanation to why it seems the younger players ain't happy

That would be the explanation the posters who are staunch anti-Radford would go down. It could be true, we can't disprove it, but there's little evidence and it's built from conjecture following a couple of radio interviews.

And, which players do we think have been unhappy at the club? Shaul, Crooks & Lineham at a guess?

Lineham asked to leave, we can't be sure exactly why. He was getting game time & playing well, so the assumption would be he wanted to move to a better team.

Crooks & Shaul are both known to have bad attitudes. I remember a York fan (may have been Wheels) coming on here while Shaul was there on loan telling us about his poor attitude. Both players with great potential, but if their attitudes don't fit in with the culture at the club, see ye later. Hopefully the situation with Shaul can be salvaged as I like watching him play.

Certain kinds of intimidation are bullying if it's persistent. Some people are intimidated by anything, so it's specific situations.

You can. Some people just think you can't though and think where there's blame...

Instead of working harder during hard times to earn your bread, some people think they don't have to and look to blame someone else.

Blame culture and lame duck attitude.
