| Nothing has changed, a poor wigan team there for the taking and dumb players making dumb choices
Still no pace in the squad apart from lancaster who didnt get much chance,
why didnt hadley play in the second half?
Ellis looks injured still

Ellis was huffing and puffing all night. He looked unfit to me.

| Quote: WormInHand "The worst Wigan team since before Noble - and their fans know it. No driving support from that silent majority!
We should and could have won. We weren't good. Clueless with ball in hand, flapping when a chance was there - the failure to spot and take advantage of Charnley's indisposition was schoolboy-error criminality.
The lack of a relentless pack to drive us up the middle was paramount, but the desperation fuelling our last gasp tackles in defence saved us. All a bit cobbled, but the defence was good tonight. Encouraging.
But sheer brainlessness cost us. Poor chases, lacklustre play-the-balls and the ridiculous lethargy when(not) forming the scrum with five minutes to go. And crowd's screaming frustration at Watts' last second brain-fart in chucking it the wrong way was mirrored by Pryce in his disgust as he stalked towards the tunnel. Not that we should be relying on the last play. Obviously.
Pryce had a good game, by the way. As did Ellis and Rankin (can someone please start shagging him to encourage him to stay? Ta.) And thanks too to Lancaster, good game from him. But the comradarie seems to have gone again. Niggles at the end and all. The crux of the matter?'"
Great summary, I have nothing to add other than just reaffirm how crap Wigan were. Loads of chuntering from their fans on the way back to the car. Glad I went and convinced we will gel at some point just hope it's SOON. COYH

| Looking at the team from last night Yeaman, Green, Watts, Bowden, Hadley, and Feka ain't good enough. Our props are painfully slow at the play the ball apart from Paea. I've said since pre season we'll be in the bottom 4 and right now it'll be bottom 2 imo.
Picture us going into next season with Taylor, Watts, Bowden, Green and BTW as our props. Would go okay in the Championship I suppose.

I thought Watts (other than THAT pass) and Bowden went well last night.

| Hull never really played on Wigan's nerves last night which was surprising. Our confidence looks shot and whilst we should have scored far more points from the possession we had, we weren't given much to worry about defensively.
It was all a bit one out from Hull I thought. If you'd have moved the ball around a bit more there was plenty of space. Cas hit the flanks time and again last week against us and killed us but the Hull centres/wings didn't see much ball.
Two nervous sides on show IMO.

| Lets be honest here, yes Wigan were there for the taking and its not the best Wigan side I have seen but they were almost full strength and some credit has to be given to our defence ,Ellis may well not be fully fit but some of his tackling was ferocious and I bet the Wigan players new he was there. Our offence is letting us down and we lack that spark and our kicking game again was poor. After 60 mins Wigan looked shot and smarter play from us and we would have got the win.Still giving penalties away on 4/5 tackle and its criminal.I dont understand the criticism of Paleasenia I thought he was one of our best forwards last nigh along with Thompson.Without stating the obvious we need to start winning or we will run out of games before we know it.I cannot fault our effort last night but we have to build on that and we must show more flair

Sorry I didn't mean just based on last nights performances from the players I named I meant they aren't good enough to be 3 of our starting 4 props for the season.

Did yeaman play the full game? 4 tackles, 4 missed tackles and 7 hit ups for a total of 41m according to the SL website. Might as we have stayed at home

Quite.
Although he did emerge into the spotlight to scream at Watts in a temper at the end. Perhaps should keep schtum and start polishing his black pot.

Watts should never have been put in that position by Houghton, but he seems to be immune from criticism.
