Like I said earlier I think this is a great idea and could solve a lot of the problems that will arise from this no cash turnstiles.

| Instead of buying the so called "beer" @ £4.20 per pint and the so called "food" everyone should buy a Hull FC matchday programme instead. Adam implies we'll lose money on the beer but we could get some back with increased sales of the magazine. As fans we can take the idiot on at this as we have control over where we spend. Buy a programme and stuff the refreshments up the Egyptian's arris.

| Nothing the SMC does will stop me going. Why would an extraordinarily poorly organised outfit like that, deliberately or otherwise, have the effect that FC themselves have failed to achieve over decades of disappointment and irritation.

Just a quick point in the Smc deal the beer is the only thing we get commission on, if you boycott the food and buy the beer you hurt the SMC and benefit the Club

| I live near Harrogate. Last year, at approximately 6:15 on the Friday night, I made the decision, based on 'can I afford it' to come to the FC/KR derby. I paid on the gate.
I'm not in a position to come to Hull and buy a ticket. This means I have to decide by the middle of the week whether I'm going. And as the story I've provided demonstrates, I might not do this.
So, if they are going to provide this over-complicated-but-obviously-cheaper-for-the-SMC system, then it's really easy - have either some walk-up pay-on-the-gate turnstiles in operation, or Pearson needs permission to have his kiosks - which ends up costing FC more money. I'm assuming we'll get a rent reduction for providing the facilities Allam has obviously decided to remove. No? Oh, fancy. If this doesn't happen, I'll probably be even less likely to bother coming to games. Sad, really.
And I rarely use the stadium catering. It's always been a joke.

| For me, living out of hull, I have to pay £6 in travel costs to get to a game, if I have to pay this twice to go buy a ticket in advance then I'm waiting to see how much this advance discount is that Pearson has alluded to. If it is a few quid then I don't mind making the extra journey cos the discount will pay most of it however it would be so much easier to buy on the day at the kiosks. I will try my best to fill another seat this year but I fear I wont be going to as many games as I would usually.

| End of the day if we start winning and the playing good rugby, this won't be that much of a problem.
Good to see Pearson speaking out again and trying to sort this out.
Really looking forward to tomorrow, we have a really strong squad out and Chester has also indicated he will play his top players so it should be a good hit out.

Yes it will. A reduction in income is a reduction in income. Not to mention the fact that fans will learn that coming to the KC is too much of a hassle and more and more will stay away - which given the struggle we have to attract them anyway is unwelcome to say the least.
This is going to hit the club in the pocket no matter how well we do.

| Think we need to start getting an MP (or prospective MP) involved, surely the opportunity to win votes championing FC's cause would interest a politician with an election looming. The council also surely need to take some responsibility as the owner of the ground but I won't hold my breath.

| I think the club are handling this quite well. They have not been critical of SMC just stated what SMC's aims are and why its doesn't work for us. The obvious, compromise answer is for us to be allowed to sell tickets on match days so by coming out and saying they have asked for permission they put pressure on SMC to say yes. It won't make any difference to SMC's cost saving measures and will show them up for what they are if they now come out and say no.

If they say no the next option is to look at sellig tickets in other outlets that are friendly to the club, such as outside Walton Street club, get away coaches to stop at a layby/service station and sell them tickets there. Not ideal but we can make the best of it if we think creatively.
Also we could question why the SMC don't offer print at home tickets or apps that produce a barcode, putting further pressure on their decision.

| Its about time as supporters and as a club we started kicking up more of a stink about this whole SMC operation as at the moment we just seem to roll over and take it. The stadium is a shared facility and the weasel that owns both City and SMC is treating us appaulingly (and to be fair his own fans too) and something more should be done about it. As fans and as a club we need to be more proactive in our opposition

| Interesting to hear AP say that City have reduced their commission on beer sales, making Hull's 14 year agreement look even less attractive to the SMC. Of course City could pay the SMC £10 for every pint sold and it wouldn't make a scrap of difference to Mr Allam's balance sheet.

| People must be desperate to drink the beer at the stadium anyway!!
I wouldn't wash my socks in it!! Total dishwater.
As for the ticketing issue, hopefully a compromise can be sorted.
