| The early season improvements seem to have gone out of the window. Our 2 aussie half backs are hopeless and the coach blames anyone but himself. Time he went away to think about his capabilities as a coach and took a long hard look in the mirror. HE is clearly clueless about what to do and the worrying thing is we're blowing points we should be picking up. I'm hoping to god that bradford lose their points deduction appeal or we really could be in trouble with the run of games we have.
I also thik our top 8 chances have now gone. Throwing away a comfortable elad against one of the worst 2 sides in SL is appaling

We won't make the 8 now with so many away games to come. More worried about Bradford's deduction being overturned tbh.

Home: Wigan, Warrington, Castleford, St Helens, Hull KR, Leeds
Away: Leeds, London, Widnes, Catalans, Wakefield, Salford, Wigan, Bradford, Huddersfield
Magic Weekend: Hull KR
And our record against London away is average.

| Said when he was appointed it was too soon for him, it's too big a job for him and he is way out of his depth just another example of fc doing things on the cheap when it comes to coaching.
I really don't see us improving or progressing under radford and can see a sub 9k crowd on Friday, as a pass holder Im seriously considering not attending on Friday and I'm seriously considering my season pass renewal for next year, I'm fed up of season upon season of poor inconsistent performances and false promises.
I just don't see a end to this constant merry go round of seasons in "transition"
Rafdford is right regarding the crowd, the atmosphere is poor but it's not due to the passion of the crowd it's due to the fact that the kc has and always will be too big for us, I remember the boulevard always had a great atmosphere even with smaller crowds then we get now, this was due to the fact it was small and compact and the hardcore singers where all grouped together and not spread over a vast area of all seating stands, you've only got to attend away games to see what sort of atmosphere us fc fans can create when we all get together. Sure there's been some great nights and atmospheres at the kc but the poor atmospheres greatly out number the the good atmospheres, the kc is great facility wise but atmosphere wise it's rubbish. I'd love us to have something similar to Warrington.

The problem is that the team and coach , as well as the supporters who I guess can be forgiven their rose tinted glasses , all seemingly thought that there were plenty of teams " that we should beat" before a ball was passed or kicked and that there were plenty that "we were confident of winning". There was never any real substance to back that up and our very average group of players and rookie coach need to recognise that they are just as likely to have been targeted as a likely two pointer by these teams we think we should turn over by just being there. We are an average squad , there are deficiencies in skill levels across the park and their is a huge hole where our brain should be. To win games we need all 17 players playing like their live's depend on it and all too often they don't. Why they don't , who knows? Possibly because they believe they're better than they are? Or maybe they just aren't good enough? They certainly demonstrate time and time again that they can't/don't listen to their coach - or the coach is saying all of the wrong things? Let's hope being beaten by an Agar coached team starring the likes of Washbrook is a nadir. AP said getting humiliated by Leeds in the way we did on a number of occasions under the old regime would never happen again. That's no good if we get beaten by Widnes and Wakey at the KC instead. Recruitment and retention is the single factor which is continuously badly handled and I'm not sure we've learned anything. It's the same old same old same old same old and immensely disappointing..................

| Well, at the end of the day Pearson needs to make a decision sooner rather than later. There are gaping holes in quality within the squad and waiting until the seasons end will mean another coach playing with his predecessor's team.

| I was against Radfords appointment from the start but when people were starting the Radford out stuff after the Widnes game I said it is harsh to judge on just 6 games and best to wait till the mid point of the season.
We are getting pretty close to halfway now and we are languishing in 7th place with victories against the sides placed 6th, 9th, 11th, 13th and 14th. Defeats against 2nd,3rd, 5th, 8th, 10th and 12th.
When you consider Huddersfield (6th) are the highest placed side we have beat and they helped beat themselves that game as they were still on a downer from the cup game. It then leaves us with just wins against sides outside the 8.
We do have the sides placed 1st and 4th to play but i do not hold much hope of getting points against either of those.
As Radford mentioned in the interview, this is the time of the season when sides start to look at recruitment for the following season, who to keep etc. If Pearson is to get rid of Radford the time to act is now and let the new man work on next seasons recruitment rather than leaving it to the current coach or even worse leaving it too late.
People have mentioned that coaches have come and gone but the end result has been the same, the problem we have had is the new coach has been stuck with the same assistants and backroom staff as the previous coach(yes there was some movement in various positions but nowhere near enough) Radford himself was part of the previous coaches (who was sacked for getting much better results) coaching setup and has been part of the playing staff as long as these problems have existed. What did we expect to get from someone who has been part of all the previous failures at the club?

| Quote: GEvans75 "Niled at home by Widnes.
Knocked out the Cup by Salford.
Beaten by the chavs from the East
Now beaten at home by an awful Wakefield team.
And then to add insult to injury he criticises the supporters and is asking murdock for answers.
Do the right thing RadFord and walk.'"
He should have done the right thing and manned the feck up and said he wasn't ready for the job in the first instance, to take on the roll after being a so called assistant (back stabber more like) shows massive disrepsect to the fans and to the name & history of the club that is Hull FC and shows him to be deluded and believing his own hype
Do the right thing Lee and admit you made a massive mistake taking on a job you were never ever ready for, not in a month of Sundays and resign. I've been saying all along he hasn't got the skillset to be a a SL club coach & clearly he isn't able to man manage or even be able to lead his charges either..full on failure, yes the players aren't helping as I alluded to in my previous post but after driving 3 hours plus back home I'm even more narked that everything I said early doors has sadly being proven to be right.

| Looks like the fans are losing confidence in Pearson's managerial ability.
He talks the talk, but- - - - - - -
Radford & Last as the 1st team coaching team were crazy decisions.
Gentle should have seen out his final year, which should have been spent
`tapping up' a top coach - everyone has a price!
If has been alluded to on here, Gentle was a victim of player power, Pearson
should have cleared out the culprits. No balls?
Was 6th place twice, winning the derbies 4out of 6
& a Wembley appearance really that bad?
6 weeks from now we'll probably be in the relegation dogfight,
with attendances plummeting & no light at the end of the tunnel.
But we are playing more attractive rugby - yeah right. More attractive
rugby for me is winning rugby.

| Pearson has done well for the club, his investments in youth and facilities will set us up well over the years, but I do get fed up with his tiresome claims with nothing to back them up. It is about time he put up or shut up, because when it comes to first team, all we have had so far are half measures.

| Quote: His Bobness "Radford was a surprise appointment made on the judgement of Adam Pearson and Adam Pearson alone.
You can hardly blame Radford for taking the job but you can sure blame Pearson for offering it to him.'"
I agree that Pearson should be blamed for two bad coaching decisions, but i think/hope that his longterm strategy is to have a team with a core of young local players (like Leeds Wigan and Saints) and that we are just in transition until the young kids are ready.
the risks of that strategy are that the youngsters may not be good enough, that the crowd grows even more disgruntled at seasons of transition and the new league format has put a spanner in the works in that if you have an average season you end it playing Batley.
