Looking at the stats, 22 errors by Hull Compared to Widnes 11. Only 1 clean break for Hull.

Crooks stats are appalling, he nearly made negative meters and nearly as many errors as he made tackles.

Confidence seems shot through or is he the new Craig Hall? He can do it all and at times last year looked as good a prospect as we've seen for years but the same could have been said about Hall. If it is confidence then Radders needs to find the key to get him back up asap and that isn't sitting him on the bench for half a game to think about it. He has to play and , for me , in place of Yeaman who regardless of stats should have gone last year. Arundel's not setting the world on fire but with a few games may improve. These guys are either the future or not good enough but they've got to have a run of games to find out. Same goes for Miller. Look at Bowden , he wouldn't have got game time if it hadn't been for injuries.

The reason why hadley never got used..he was meant to be out on when we was comfortable in the game to gain minutes..the reason crooks was sub was to be given time to gain a bit of confidence also when we was on top of the game..but not going to plan & bombing what scoring opportunitys we had was no place for players like basket finding there feet.poor kid was sat thinking he had done wrong & had been forgot about!

If that is true then that was an appalling team selection by Radders. It smells of complacency to me that he thought we would easily win the match. The players attitudes have often been questioned by the fans for not showing up in games that we're "supposed to win" but that's hardly going to change if Radders has the same attitude. We need to learn that we don't have the right to win any game and must earn that right on the pitch over the 80 minutes.

Why is it stinky attitude? It's just faith in the selected team chosen...& yes when your team is in front & on a roll its easier to vet youngsters/squad players for them to gain confidence..then it is to be chasing the game getting slung on & upto speed with the game..can make it worse

No, faith in the selected team chosen would be to let Hadley loose no matter who the opposition. What you're claiming to be the case says that Radford wasn't confident enough in Hadley to give him a game until we were comfortably in front, but did think that Widnes were easy enough to beat to allow that. Similar with Crooks.

I realise that it's a massive if, but IF there is any truth in your claims at all, that is a poor attitude and the kind of thing that can trickle down to the players and contribute to the very problems that we have and that Radford did not like about Sunday.

Exactly. There's a difference between wanting the best circumstances in which to integrate youngsters into the team and banking on an easy ride and making decisions based upon that expectation.

Because it's the kind of attitude that leads to results like on Sunday. If what you're saying is true then Radders was so confident that we would blow Widnes away he picked two players to solely give them a run out and build up their confidence. His "faith" that we would have been in that position will have spread to the players who once again thought all they had to do was show up. His "faith" was misplaced.

We are not a good enough team to be putting two players on the bench for confidence purposes. Even London will do us over with that kind of attitude.
