With a good run of results comes confidence, if the inconsistancy, giving away silly penalties and stopping the dropped balls can be sorted can't see any reason why we cannot finish in the top 8. The lack of a SH is a massive problem but if we can get a halfback pairing together who have time to settle into the partnership I cannot see any reason why we cannot start to pick up more wins. Keep the faith (even though it's hard atm).

Absolutely. We really need someone with a big "gob" on the pitch, letting them ALL know what is required. I sometimes wonder if PG has a nasty streak in him because the players don't appear to be afraid of any reprisals if they don't perform.
Like the rest of the misguided individuals on this forum I will be there on Friday and, no doubt, putting more effort into my performance as a fan than some of the well paid people on the pitch. Its time they took some responsibility for what goes on because, as I've said elsewhere PG cannot do anything once the whistle blows.

This thread is sadly becoming relevant ! I am not sure how I will react if we lose at Wakey and at home to Dragons , both are loseable based on performances

Probably the absolute minimum required for 8th spot is 24pts (and that is the absolute minimum).
For us right now that means 9 victories from 18 games (maybe 10, possibly even 11 wins needed).
We've still to play Cats & Wigan twice plus Leeds,Wire,Hudds & Sts once more plus two derbies away from the KC.
We are not leaving ourselves a great deal of room for error.
Right now, our chances of finishing even 8th are little more than 50/50. Considering we are not even into April yet this is a depressing state of affairs, even allowing for the fact that everyone's somewhat down in the dumps tonight.

the super league table is not looking pretty for us!! looking at top 8 the only team in there that are punching above there weight is rovers IMO they deserve to be in there at present but i don't think they will be there come end of the year and i don't think we will be either. every team in there barring rovers and Bradford (if we are full strength) are better then us unfortunately so i don't see us getting into that group this year!!
