Seymour went well imo, best I have seen for a while, organised well and kicked some decent balls.

I also thought seymour did well some decent kicks especially for crooks try ,think some people have made their mind up over seymour and 1 bad pass or kick then its a bad game

i'm not sure gentle really rates seymour and think he's only still here because we didn't sign a scrum half - i too think he's looking more at heremaia for scrum half.

my own view is that we should give seymour a chance to impress now he's free of niggling injuries, he did okay today

fair one pal, you did call it. and after seeing how it all transpired im not surprised. Heramia was one of our best player while Seymour was the least impressive. one thing not to forget is that Seymour was playing along side much less experience players. and we did score off his kick.

Not me, I would love Seymour to do well, I still have hopes for him but I didn't see anything today that illustrated he has turned things around. His kick for the try was good but most of his other kicks were poor and we already know he doesn't have much length on them. His passes always look hurried and he chucks out more than a few wayward ones, he even did one that the player had to take at head height from dummy half. Holdsworth seemed to have time on the ball and didnt seem hurried at all, his flick on to make the overlap on for Briscoe was sublime.

First game of the season and it wasn't a disaster for him but I personally hoped for more.

According to twitter, Tickle, Kent and Johnson all carrying knocks from Tenerife so weren't risked. Whiting picked up a concussion from his clash of heads.
