Aspinwall's spell at prop was outstanding considering the quality of the opposition.

| Was a great effort from the lads today, was disappointed not to get the win but if someone offered me the draw before the game I'd of bit their hand off!
The effort in defence was really good, and played some good stuff in attack. A few times they looked a little clueless at times provinding no runners so getting flatend by the defence.
Sharp seems full of confidence after Agar knocked it all out of him. Which is great to see.
Only thing that did annoy me was that I again got sat next to some posh numptys, slating Martin everytime he got the ball. He wasn't great but he did his job and you can't expect him to stop the Warrington team everytime they have the ball out wide. After all they are the best team in the league imo. Even blaming him for conceding the try at the end! Really wound me up, clueless tvvat.
Regarding McKinnnon, I still think he'll turn out to be our best signing of the season. Yeah he made a few errors when returning the ball but constant errors aren't apart of his game thankfully. Was good to see him following the ball about in the middle expecting the offload, and received it a few times only to be called back for a forward pass. Would of scored aswell if it wasn't for some good defence from Warrington in the second half.

No but I can see that he has faults, more than many would accept.

| Well from a neutral's point of view it was a good game of rugby to watch. A draw was a fair reflection of the game, both had good spells and both made a couple of errors. especially impressed that the handling errors was kept to a minimum in the second half considering the temperatures dropped.
Good atmosphere, Wire brought a good showing. Ganson at his usual whoeful self. Westwood still leading with his forearm going forward. Sharp kept getting drawn in too easily. McKinnon didn't look confident at all throughout the game. Tickle well worthy of the MOM, very strong running forward along with some good hits from O'Meley, especially when Higham came off second best with what looked like a dislocated shoulder? Never gets boring watching Mozza driving the ball forward.
Atmosphere 7/10
Entertainment 8/10

Agreed he does have his fault's but in his case the +ve's outweigh the -ve's. The problem with Warrington's tieing score was the inside defence not dealing with Westwood's cross field run, they allowed him to make to much ground before passing. That said he's a good player.

| The best game i've seen at KC for a few years. Thought Tickle put in a great shift and was my MOM. Aspinwall defended well. Still think we lack something in the front row, Lynch Shrek and Moa was steady today but still needed a power house to come on for a short stint.
Waterhouse was dangerous all day, what a man mountain he is. Think a draw was a fair result, taking everything into account, Briscoes try was lucky to be given he knocked it on.

the rumour doing the rounds today was that a certain Willie Mason would be coming to fill our last quota place...I'm seriously hoping it is a wind-up, a disruptive has-been is the last thing we need!

I just hope that people are putting the fact that he is out of work with little or no offers, and that he is the Ogre's best mate and putting 2 and 2 together and making 5.

Odds are it is a wind up, however I think I read we have 60k left now personally I would snap Mason up if we could get him for that! it would be a steal (his personal/past history is no worse than some we have signed this year!), it would be entertaining if nothing else
I actually met him last year, man mountain and tbh he was a real nice bloke...I was disappointed to let Hame go (I know I am in the minority with that), but I feel we lack a big dirty B****d up front!
I actually think Moa has lost too much weight, great player still but he does not have the same impact he did, and O'Meley has been quite for a while, but hopefully both will start firing.
Wonder if Fudge would lend us those cardboard cut-outs

| I would welcome any signing that added a physical presence to out pack. We have looked smaller than both the Rovers and Warrington forwards (didn't go against Bradford).

100% agree with you except the Hame bit.
I said at the time when Rovers signed him id have loved us to sign him. He's a massive name in world rugby and could still cut it in SL im sure off that.

| It's disappointing to concede such a late try but I'm very happy with the performance and the result.
An encouraging start to the campaign.
