Bomber won't be anything to do with the coaching side of things, it states clearly on the websiterecruitment of a new First Team Coach for Hull FC who will be installed in the position at the latest by 1st November 2011.
Although not taking up official employment until 1st October 2011, Shaun will be immediately responsible for the completion of the recruitment process for a new Head Coach of Hull FC. This new appointment will be announced as soon as the recruitment process can be completed."

Pleased with the news which now means a pass will be bought for next season.
Bombers teams where always entertaining and that is one thing that has been lacking in recent years. I know he will be in overall charge and the new coach will have the first team as his responsibility and clearly they will both have to work well together.

Not Last's fault, he coaches the U20s so they can be in contention for the first team. It is up to the first team coach to pick them for the first team. |

| A few people seem to be missing the implications of this statement...

The highlighted bit makes it clear that Bomber will be an [iactual[/i Director of Rugby - as in the member of the BoD with responsibility for the playing side of the club. This is not the usual DoR role as we normally see it in SL. |

Gentle is the assistant coach to Wests who are currently 4th in the NRL and assistant Australia coach. He has excellent pedigree. |
