Fancy last week you got your arc-s nailed to your ground by an inferior club

As a wire fan, wire wonders posts on this thread have been embarrassing, after page 4 i was ready to post a reply to this imbecile's posts however none of you guys rose to his bait, however he has furthered his idiocy.

just to clarify, you guys fully deserved to beat us last week, you were the better team over 80 minutes.

also, this guy as you have already realised is a troll/b3ll3nd, please ignore him, in no way does he represent the views and opinions of proper wire fans ( even if he does stay for 80 minutes)

you have really turned it around this season, congrats to the club and fans for getting through the tough start of the season. to get 5 out of 6 points over Easter is a great record, especially considering 3 of those points were against top 4 opposition. not trying to toot our horn but to emphasise how well you have done icon_biggrin.gif

I've not read all the posts so apologies if it's mentioned earlier.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the worst decision of the afternoon and one which Saints scored from.

When Meli kicked the ball Whiting had his feet on the touchline when he caught the ball, and was therefore out of play. The head and feed should have gone to Hull but went to Saints. Roby scored direct from that scrum and got Saints back unto the game.

I thought I saw it that way "live" on t.v.

I've just watched boots n all the tries and that's exactly what happened. Whiting did not carry the ball over the touchline.

Your referring to the law relating to touch in goal and making the ball dead. Ganson was right in this case , Whiting should have left it but he clearly was trying to gather it and stay in field. He had his size 12's in the wrong place though and the ball had not crossed the line at the time he touched it.

No it wasn't touch in goal.
Meli chipped the ball forward and Whiting had both feet on the touchline about 10 metres from the Hull try line as he caught the ball. In that case the ball is out of play and it should have been head and feed to Hull. Whiting did not carry the ball into from the field of play into touch.

Roby scored direct from the resulting scrum in which the head and feed was wrongly given to Saints.

You are very welcome to come on here and post sensible and grown up comments. However if you continue to post in the manner of a pathetic child who is still very sore from last Monday's result then you will find you are no longer able to post on here any more.

Referee: Mr Steve Ganson (Saint Helens)

So a referee from the home town he is actually refereeing and HIS family hold SEASON PASSES from Saint Helens....

CREDIBILITY
You know what you are dead right however although he turned it into the ganson show as usual i will say that I doubt he is a cheat , he simply isnt that type of fella from my knowledge... brain fart shouts at times yes, but cheat no

Because the ball had bounced allready it was a live ball, the ball is in the air and Whiting then catches it with his feet on the line, the head and feed to Saints was the correct call. The rule your talking about only counts if the ball hasnt bounced in the field of play allready.

I agree that he isnt a cheat, often in the past he has been rather harsh on Saints maybe in an effort to prove hhe is neutral. However the fact that he is from St.Helens has begun to distract from the game,if there was a neutral ref then ok there may still be some contrevertial calls but at least there would be no suggestion from anyone that there is a bias.

All in all it was an entertaining game, chances for you to put us to bed in the first half, chances for us and you to win in the second.I enjoy the Hull games as they are usually good hard games.I also enjoy the banter we have with the Hull fans and the shared sense of rugby community we have with regard to Steve Prescott and also Longy.

Best of luck for the rest of the season and hoping those 50/50 calls will start going your way

The RFL could quite easily stop the conspiracy theories y simply not letting Ganson referee Saints.

But then they're not exactly an intelligent bunch at times.

Steve Cross was a referee, well before they turned pro though.
