I agree Horne is first choice when fully fit and the good form of Turner means we do not need to rush Horne back either or more importantly play him when injured.
Turner while still looking a bit raw with his distribution looks to me like he could cause havoc if he backs his running game more.
Most important thing is that both Turner and Horne are playing alongside a proper number 7. |

Have to agree. I would put Horne at fullback when he is fit to return and move Whiting back to centre. |

| I remember when we signed him he said he wants to play 6. I would have thought long term he will play 6 or in the centres. I just hope he nails down a spot rather than get messed around in different positions
with good coaching  i think Turner could be an excellent stand off |

| I've been impressed by Turner in the two pre-season friendlies and hope he can maintain the same level of performance.
I thought Whiting was awesome at FB v Cas.  |

I'd have said long term he needs to play centre or 13 based on what i've seen of his core skills.

i agree he could be a good 13 but i'm not convinced about him at centre. I just think he might have more potential playing at 6 or 13. only problem with 13 is that long-term we have Westerman & Washbrook
it's a shame because 13 could be his better position and I can't see it happening for him there |

He got a shot at 6 and didn't impress at all. His best games were at centre, but he was inconsistent.
Hope he carries his form in the friendlies through into the season. Horne looks to be a few weeks off fitness and it would do no harm at all for him to have competition for the 6 spot once he's properly fit. |

Totally agree with that, it is what most players need, and knowing Rich he will thrive on competition, best result for us all round. |

I don't think he wasn't playing alongside Long and I don't think he was played at 6. from what I remember he was played at 7 and he didn't do anything wrong; he just didn't do anything particularly good |
