| Unfortunately only those with black and white glasses on cant see that RH is a spent force, he has had a serious injury that not only broke his body but his confidence , his speed has all but deserted him and since the first friendly he has to be fair done very little!! he has made zero breaks unless in the clear, his fend has gone and his tackling has becaome woeful at best hence why all teams thus far run at him all the time which also explains why he looks knackered by half time..
Add this to the D illness and I am afraid we have a very expensive passenger now in the team ..
5 games gone and 5 average or below performances.
and it saddens me to say it too but he is no more Hull FC through and through than Paul King was and the big shout was made for Paul as it has to be done soon for RH although he will be with us till the end of next season at least I am afraid

| I hate to say it, but he's just not good enough anymore.
His tackling, his handoff, his pace, his support play - were what got him into the GB team afew years ago. Now, looking at those four attributes, he's gone backwards.
I don't accept the excuse that 'he's never been an organiser'. He's played SL at halfback for 10 years, played with and against some great halfbacks and under some experienced coached, and is now a senior member of the team. He should by now be able to shout and execute some plays to his teammates, and be relied upon to do so.
Maybe it's a confidence thing? Maybe he's just incapable of thinking of plays? Maybe it's his illness? Whatever it is, it's down to him and Agar to sort out, and if they can't, he needs to go.

| Washy and Horne is over. Rip it up and start again.
Just watch some of the videos from a few seasons ago of Horney, watch the Saints away cup game for example where we narrowly lost and RH was MOM. Look at his frame - much bigger, oozing confidence and causing havoc with his step and handoff. Such a massive shame, but realisticly it's gonna take a turnaround of mammoth proportions to rectify his form now.

and that my friends is absolutely spot on the money for me, and to boot the lad was a GB international so he should that would assume be a tad better than most at the very things he seems so lacking in!!!
unfortunately it comes to all players and having watched and played the game for more years than I dare admit to , Richard its time to think about hanging up the boots, your speed has gone, your confidence is now non existent and your litterally 3 stone lighter than I have ever seen!!
and as for Washbrook, cmon this lad is most certainly not the answer , a decent squad player but definately not in any way shape or form lived up to the hype he was given back a while ago.. his report would say had tons of potential but never reached it.. hes a plodder

| right now, after 3 games i don't think rich horne is looking like he will come good (at least for some time) and i agree he looks a shadow of his former self
however to totally convice me that he is "past it" or "should hang up his boots".....[ihypothetically[/i
plan A - play at least 10 games alongside sean long and see how he progresses
plan B - failing that sell him to rovers and see if he reignites with cooke (this will no doubt upset alot of ppl but pls take it with a pinch of salt)

| If RH tackling thus far is where he is at this season we most certainly do not want him at FB
Not that i am as experienced as Agar or know anything about Pro RL apart from being a watcher all my life but based upon my knowledge of what we have in the Squad and thus far their performances this season I would go for
FB: Whiting.
Wing: Calderwood
Wing: Turner ( give him some game time to get into things and he is quick)
Centre : Briscoe
Centre : Yeaman
SO: Manu
SH: Tansey
LF: Fitz
SR : Tickle
SR : Burnett
Prop : Radford
Hooker : Berro
Prop : Omeley
Reps
Dowes
Moa
Houghton
Cussack

| Yes you will see in my team above that I have placed Manu at SO
Daft?? not really , he has proven this season that he is a 80 minute player now he is fully fit, the lad has an awesome ability to break through defenders and I can visualise the FB and others running off him all day long down the middle, he has speed, strong in defence, great hands, offloads at every opp, good passer ,
Seems like a stand off to me when we need to fill in!! ( always thought this or centre too)
and without doubt offers more than Washy or Horne!!
I can hear the guns cocking already

| Thats better Not sure about Manu but as long as we try something different i will be happy enough even if it fails.
However i fear we will go with a tried and failed partnership instead

I gotta agree but in fairness Manu does offer more than Washy and Horne put together , he is quick and damned hard to stop!! dont ever think he would try it but it could work !!
I remember knocker moving to stand off on ocassion when crane was at loose man !! similar player

| We may be pleasantly surprised but i doubt it. It is early in the season and although we should be winning this game i think the early season games are ones were you can experiment a bit with players. Better to get plan b/c/d sorted out before the run in.

| Normally a player like RH who was definately a talent would be dropped and put into the reserves to rediscover his confidence and form but RA will keep sticking him in and serving up the same drivel we have had for the last two years.
