I’d like to bet out of them, in the vast majority he hasn't had a full squad to choose from.
A lot of people are trying to compare Agar with T Smith.
T Smith was allowed to learn his trade and was allowed to bring his own team in even though Hudds where relegated.
In every Club coaching position since Smith has had far superior personnel to coach and this counts for wire as well.
In the recent tour as England manager he failed to deliver even with the best this country has to offer (this is thought to be due to indiscipline between some players)
In the recent international against France those players did not make the squad.
We as a club are going through some tough times but chopping and changing the coach every year doesn’t do any good, yes we could get rid but do any of you really think these players deserve another chance.
Yes we have had to watch some utter tripe this year but go and look at the injury list for this year (everyone agreed last year was poor due to injuries) its worse than last year, I looked quickly and I made it forgetting lauaki and crocker 18 of our squad have been out for 3 weeks or more, you go do that to Leeds or Saints and lets see how there Fantastic coaches do.
Now lets be straight I don’t know Agar and I don’t care if he is a nice bloke or not, all I want is a competitive team to watch that I can be proud off win lose or draw it does seem to me that quite a few on here think only the win is acceptable.
Someone in another agar bashing post (don’t ask me to name it as there are far to many ) mentioned maybe the reason we have a lot of injuries could be down to the KC pitch being harder than others this I think should maybe looked into. We could maybe go across to the NFL and see how the Yanks train for there pitches maybe incorporate some of their training methods.
Just my thoughts (emphasis on the my)

Good read and he has obviously had a positive influence on the better class of player at Wire since he got rid of a certain bad apple.
So to add if we get rid of the bad apples and bring in a better quality of player ?

| I think the Tony Smith example is being taken too literally by some people. The point is about how a set of players can greatly under perform under one coach and then be made to perform above themselves by a different coach. Tony Smith going to Wire is just an example of this, other recent examples of this would be Hiddink taking over at Chelsea or Allardyce taking over at Blackburn.

| Well pleased for Huddersfield this season. 3rd in the league and in the final of the CC. Just shows you what having a world class coach incharge of your team can do for you! Particulary pleased as I said before the season started that Huddersfield would be the biggest suprise of the season.
Again this was hardly Nathan Browns team, and has only brought in a handful of his own players.
Yet another example that Agar is out of his depth and Rule is a tit for saying give him time because it isn't his team. Ffs Agars been among the squad for long enough surely he should know the players by now.

| Huddersfield bin Thorman and Sharp, bring in a top cach and a great half back pairing.
But hey, it's not "his team", nor was it Smiths team yesterday.
But some on here will still want to give Agar a "chance".

| On paper, Huddersfield probably have a weaker squad than ours but they have a coach who's got them playing for each other and playing some great stuff too.
Really envious of them to be honest, mainly due to them having Brown at the helm. I've got huge respect for what he's doing there and hope they pick up some silverware this year.

Agree 100%, there was more agression in the first 10 minutes from Hudds than we've seen since the 6th game of the season.

| I quite agree we have 2 teams in the final both of which you could say that the coaches don't have their own teams.
So that pathetic excuse from some Hull fans wont wash with me.
Kevin Brown paid compliment to the ability of his coach.
Brett Hodgson said that although they are not a team of superstars they play as a team.
We cannot say either of those things.
For me the thing that both teams in the final have, are;
Respect for each other and their coach and a will to win both coupled with good coaching.

| Huddersfield showed ambition with their coaching appointment, Hull didn't.
As someone pointed out on another thread, they also should've had Carney in their squad but he was refused a visa.
