Quote: Kosh "Y'see, this is what I find odd. I don't [isee[/i anyone accepting mediocrity. Being happy that we won and seeing one or two improvements over recent weeks is not 'accepting mediocrity'. Just about everyone, whether positive or negative, accepts that we are a long way short of where we'd all like to be and where we [ishould[/i be if better decisions had been made over the last 5 seasons.'"
Exactly. I don't understand how "I refuse to accept mediocrity" can be translated into "I withdraw my support for the club". Everyone is disappointed with our performances on the pitch, and can, and do, complain about every aspect of the club on here ad infinitum. Fair enough, but how exactly will withdrawing support and staying away from games like yesterday's achieve anything? Kath Hetherington and the other members of the board will, I imagine, take interest on her loan to the club regardless of our profitability situation so imagining a small reduction in home gates will suddenly influence the board to get sack Agar and offer Kearney a deal compelling enough to drop everything and get on the next flight here just doesn't make sense.
