He has to have a contract with Hull to be able to apply for a work permit and visa, so he has a contract but that contract becomes void if he can't get a visa. |

I believe the contract is binding still. He will be released off the contract if he cannot get a visa. But at the moment his contract is valid as he is awaiting a decision. |

I though he had to have a contract in order to get a work permit and to get a Visa he has to have a work permit, therefore he must have a contract.  |

Technically he has to have a conditional job offer to get a visa. It may say contract in the wording of the visa policy but its not actually a contract of employment until its unconditional after the visa has been received.
Crocker can theoretically walk out any point until it becomes unconditional. (but i doubt he would)

Why would he walk out on the contract when you said he was definitely coming, if this was the case then surely his contract would then be confirmed |
