Makes sense for the Allam’s to sell now, as on current form City’s Sale price will be falling by the week.
If so, and the sale includes the SMC, hopefully Adam has a more workable relationship with the new owners going forward. There is no guarantee (not many football club owners are generous and friendly), though I doubt the relationship can be much worse as it has been in the past few seasons.

When they could have had £120+ a couple of years ago. Can’t see them holding onto The SMC surely? Wonder if that’s why there’s been no news on the passes?

In installments. It was in the media last week that he wants to pay the purchase price in installments plus an additional figure if the club are promoted into the Premier League.

When the USA buyer was interested in the club he pulled out when Allam insisted on an extra £5 million for the SMC.
The SMC valuation seems to be the sticking point to a genuine deal.
Can you imagine if Allam sells the club then decides to stick it to the Hull clubs and the supporters and keep the SMC under their control

| I’ve heard that’s how the Allam’s negotiate. Get the deal to the line and then change the goalposts at the death and hope the other party is too far in to pull out.
As I said though, they’ll want out now. They’ve stripped most of the assets out of City, only KLP has any potential value. They won’t want to sack and pay off
McCann. Relegation looking probable, so take the money out while they can.

Thats my concern as its a possibility that is something the Allams would do to stick it to the fans of City, Adam Pearson and the City Council so I would hope that the Council have something in the terms of the agreement with regards the SMC running of the Stadium or have at least been prepared for this possible outcome since they put the club up for sale.

Turkish football clubs play other sports such as a Galastasary have a Basketball team, so while he won't know Rugby the concept of several sports sharing the facilities won't be new. You've just got to hope he sees the benefits of Football and Rugby sharing the stadium costs.

Think its a long shot sadly. Even basic due diligence on RL would uncover that the sport doesn't even know how many teams should be in SL, how many games we should play and that our TV deal is in decline and on a short contract with only 1 serious bidder interested. I love RL but you'd be mad to invest in it right now.

Why would he do that? More importantly, why was he allowed to take out a loan for £8.5m on the SMC when he doesn’t own it. Isn’t it still owned by the Council?

| Pretty happy with recruitment in terms of strengthening positions of weakness and balancing out the squad better, certainly more pace and power ,(in the forwards)with the 3 signings.
I still think we need two more, from what I hear the club are confident for Hookem to be used as back up halfback, but I still think we need first choice halfback with some pace, someone who can make a break, this can only happen if Reynolds doesnt comeback.
Another squad forward would be good too.

I think considering the constraints faced by BH in making big changes to the squad for next season in terms of addressing areas with the squad that where weak and unbalanced we have to be happy. AP has been true to his words that the sort of performances wont be tolerated and he has taken the difficult steps to give BH some room to manoeuvre to be able to make some much needed changes.
Its interesting to read BH comments on Evans re his off load game where he says “He also brings an impressive offload game which can help us develop our second phase of attack further and threaten opposition teams across the park".
I think Sneyd and Reynolds will certainly need to up their levels (particularly Sneyd) next season though the fact that a player such as Fonua was moved on should hopefully be a kick up the back side to all the players that you have to perform to the level expected and consistently.
The addition of Evans and Lovodua along with hopefully Taylor being back to full fitness should give Sneyd and Reynolds every opportunity. If Reynolds makes a full recovery he will also be better for having a season under his belt in SL and without the isolation that Covid brought which certabily wont have helped him.

I'm hoping he's got something to do with it,but acknowledge it's highly unlikely.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| Hull City Council have said this morning that there has been absolutely no contact with them regarding the sale of the SMC (or City), so either the Allams are keeping it, or the Hull City sale is currently a non-starter.
