The doubts creeping in about Hodgson are a bit wide of the mark. Yes some of his bench selections are questionable but the performance comes down to the players. Dead wood on big money same players making the same mistakes. Other players will be thinking why should I put my body on the line when others play crap and get either the same money or more. Big clear out required but afraid AP doesn’t have the money. If no change then pass sales will drop

Cheeky digs aside I was amazed at how you fell apart 2nd half. We must have 7/8 prop options out now (especially considering we lost 2 more today to HIA's as well). Whilst you've got a fair few out, I still feared you'd steamroller us due to the size of your pack but you could see they were absolutely blowing out of their ar$es after 45/50 minutes (TBF some of your backs were as well!).

And I think some of you are being a bit harsh on McNamara. Unless I'm getting him mixed up with someone else he made 3 or 4 decent breaks during the game and looked as dangerous as anyone in a B&W shirt.

I feel for Hodgson.

We saw the usual response to a new coach as we did under Last, I dare say if Last had got the job, the players would of reverted to type eventually, which is what we're seeing now, along with the academy products are levels below what other teams produce.

Were reaping the product of very poor retention decisions and recruitment from the past 3 years.

Salary cap massively fudged.

What does Hodgson do, drop players for others who just aren't good enough?

Depth non existent
Leadership non existent.

We either get creative with moving some so called big names on.

Or we promote some of the promising academy players and hope some push on........

We do need a clear out. Today's performance not exceptable by any player. Second half disgraceful. Lots of things need to happen in off season.

Wow I'm glad I had to work now otherwise I'd have been there to witness what must have been a disgusting and disgraceful performance from professional sportsmen.

Too many are too comfortable and merely going through the motions.
We are too lazy both in defence and in attack and our fitness really seems to have dropped off.
Is BH being too friendly now after the players initially spoke of the improved atmosphere at the club?
The playing squad is good enough to challenge top 6 but it would seem our application, desire and enthusiasm stinks.

Everything was pretty hunky-dorey until the end of June then we had the 3 postponements starting in July and we've been pretty w@nk ever since with the only highlight scraping a 1 point win over our equally as w@nk neighbours.

Im not actually bothered about missing the playoffs, it'd likely be an embarrassment and as RL fans don't like paying on the day for games the revenue would be tiny anyway. Better to end the season earlier and have a good off season where many changes need to happen.
