The only way this extension could possibly make sense is if Radford, King AND Dowes are all somehow leaving but that just isn't going to happen and it would still be a waste of a quota place.

Cusack is a cracking player imo. He is the only forward who actually gives us a chance of getting on the front foot by playing the ball quickly when he has it and slowing down the other team when he doesn't.

Kite was a pipe dream in my opinion, and I cant really see anyone else available that stands out too much so a one year deal for Cusack dosnt seem a bad move, people seem to be happy with the signing of Fitzgibbon this is a similar move, the thought of a mass clearout was nice but unrealistic, we need at least 3 seasons to build a competative side again.

Cusack was fine this season up to the injury. His re-signing can only really be judged in the context of the full set of forwards for next season, and we don't yet know who will be released, or for that matter added, yet.

Interesting point on the quota and who counts or doesn't. Reckon we still have 2 quota spots left?

Most people have being saying get rid of him so surprised

Personally feel we could do alot better with the quota spot .

TBF I think this is down to their being little else out there. He is a good player and the pick of our pack for me.. If we can get one more decent prop then I think our pack will be much better.
