I've just listened to the fans forum where this was brought up and Agar seems to like Moore. He says he's a decent player but "does he want to play Superleague?" and seems top imply that he's happy playing first team rugby at a lower league at the moment!! He goes on to say that, after being let go by a couple of Superleague clubs, maybe playing at the lower league for a while will aid his development!!
He also mentions the salary cap issues so maybe Moore isn't as cheap as some think!!

Could be, I know he's not a Leeds lad but if that was the case we wouldn't have paid a fee for Westerman who likes a drink apparently.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the club he plays for, some super league clubs seem to have better relationships with lower league clubs then others, stab in the dark but it's baffling when the club have said they have looked in the lower leagues yet he is the stand out candidate in my opinion. |

Well Agar is a friend of Karl Harrison so can't see that being right. Maybe he has talk about it and he's not ready or maybe the player is happy where he is!! |

Lauaki and Moa are off quota but remain non-fed.
4 of your 5 non-fed spots are filled - O'Meley, Fitzgibbon, Moa and Lauaki.
You're awash with quota spots (3) - so fed-trained qualified players, whether quota or not (Galea, Webster and all the other 2008ers basically), would be attractive options. That's part of why I mentioned Obst. |
