Contracted to Wigan up until the end of next year.Said in a recent interview he would consider NFL at the end of his rugby league career mid 30s.

Scott Grix would be an excellent addition to our squad, everyone is crying out for a player to be brought in who can cover in the halves, well Grix can do that. He may not be an international standard player but nobody is able to carry a top notch half as back up. Grix is as good as there is available and anybody who knocks the signing does not live in the real world! he also has the added bonus of, if needed, being able to play elsewhere. Always impressed me when he's played against us anyhow
