| Yes I would offer deals to both Yeaman and Hall personally, Yeaman doesn't do much wrong for me and he is starting to look like his old self again and Hall just has the knack of finding the line and scoring trys. For me Whiting place would be in doubt he is not quick enough to be a back although he always gives 100% and we have plenty of forwards so where do we play him????. Give Tuffour a run out to see what he has got and try and get another winger(Ainscough) for next year.

| Hall still a good prospect, his defense not great, but good in attack. Has to play centre only though or dropped IMO.
Yeamo deffo a new contract IMO. Solid and professional, good all rounder and English. Threw a rugby ball at rovers fans and kissed his badge. Nuff said! We need people like Yeamo joking aside. I suspect however, that he is on a large contract and we would offer him a bit let than last time..........but I have no clue about this, just a feeling.

I personally would give a contract to Hall before Whiting. I know a lot on here are big Whiting fans and I like him as a player too. BUT Tansey is our fullback, for me Whiting is too slow to play in the outside backs, I dont see him figuring at halfback again for us and he has no chance of ever playing in our back row. I think he is good with the ball, very good defensively.......just too slow.
'"
The point is, whilst you (and many others) may not consider Whiting to be first choice in any particular position, he can slot in just about anywhere other than prop or wing and do a more than creditable job. In a high impact, salary cap sport, you need a player like that in the squad. He's incredibly valuable and would be missed if he was released.

| Yeaman is having a good season and has done nothing wrong in the first 6 games, he will hopefully get better the more ball he gets.
Hall is a centre, end of! He did seem to have a shocker in defence on Friday mainly by making wrong decisions but he was playing on the wing as cover so there is an excuse of sorts.
Play them both at centre and leave them there and they will both do very well for us there. They will have bad games from time to time but that is allowed!!

| There isn't any English centres I'd swap Hall for other than Gleeson . It will be interesting to see how Atkins develops under a good coach but atm , I see him no better than what we've got. I certainly wouldn't swap him for Sykes or Bridge who also have rep honours.
Austerlitz.

Not players like:
Senior
Lawrence
Watkins
Bridge
Shenton
And including the 2 you have mentioned?

Hardly planning for the future is it?
Neither have been that much better than Hall is any game I've seen them in.
Perhaps but still not outstanding and I believe Hall has the potential to be better
Probably the only one I'd take but I still don't think he is everything he is made out to be.

1. You would still take him now though. Bones never mentioned about future planning in his post.
2. Both have been holding down a place in top quality teams.
3. As it stands, Bridge is the better player and once again can hold his place in a better team than yours.
4. Current international, says it all really.
Hall cant even hold down a regular place and has plenty of experience now.

1. I don't care whether Bones mentioned it or not. The conversation was about whether contracts should be renewed that inherently involves future planning so no I'd not take Senior.
2. Perhaps but I still don't think they're any better than Hall.
3. Yes, as it stands Bridge is better and if I had to swap then I'd probably take Bridge.
4. I think it says more about English centres than anything else. Don't get me wrong Shenton is good player and I'd say is a more rounded player than Hall. Again if I had to make a swap I'd likely take Shenton.
That fact that Hall can't hold down a place is more down to having a coach who can't make his mind up who he wants at right centre IMO.

How long now has Agar been overlooking Hall's career?
Agar has had long enough to be able to judge Hall as a player and it looks like he doesn't rate him as highly as some. I personally think Hall should be the starting right centre at the club.

| I agree with you RP for a change, but would like Hall at left centre. As I think it suits him alot more.

| Imo Hall is an out and out centre and shouldn't be playing on the wing. It's Briscoe who I don't see been a centre at all. Briscoe is a very good winger in attack, it's just when he's defending cross field kicks/bombs that's he a liability in.
