| Half time - impressive defence !!!
Mau looks great again
Great to see Tag back on the pitch
could his enthusiasm help replace Joe C ?
I’d love to see our backs scoring tries as slim pickings recently

| Fantastic morale boosting win !! love it
Carlos was immense
Grub should play like this every week please
Can we have this Defence intensity match after match
Kick and chase was glorious
That last 7 tackles for Cats kept them in their own half - what a 79min effort !!
Mau and Lane looked a fab pair
notes:
Jake should only kick on 3rd tackle if it’s the highest % and too good to turn down - twice he kicked on 3rd with not that much on offer
Any chance of 40/20s or ball steals ?
We really need a FB that can back up the forwards looking for clean break offloads -
Could Jake ever make a clean break at FB?
Why didn’t Jake use D Mac when tackled in goal for a drop out ?
D Mac seems to run into tackles with his head too high an angle
Delighted with the win as it boosts morale and you’ll need that in Toulose then v Saints as the season rolls on

Doh! Haha my bad!
But yeah I think he's been defensively very good every game for us. Definitely goes looking for the work with and without the ball. Doesn't do the barnstorming runs we get from Satae but I'm pleased with how he is coming along.
22 tackles last night without missing one. And am average of 9 metres gained per carry (11 carries for 96 metres)

| Best for a long while, we looked good against a good side.
We looked totally different, consistent in style for 80, great intensity in defence. Looked like they fully bought into the game plan, and were enjoying it.
Carlos brings such a lot when he's in the side, he's like a warm blanket.
Was not expecting all that, but after 10 mins you could see and sense we were 'on it'
Knowing we can play like this, the conundrum is what the hell happens that can turn rocks to diamonds ??
Brett, please try to remember! and just keep doing it. and make sure the team keep doing it PLEASE !! because it works, and when we are on it we are a really good side.
It just felt great to be a fan, and that's something i hadn't felt for for quite a while.
Just keep doing it, just keep doing it.....again and again and again.
...and repeat.

| Some really good individual metres last night. A word on Shaul also - thought he did really well, finding his feet in a new position.

| Good solid performance, impressive against a strong Catalan side. Great to have Tag back and looking lean. He has been missed.
I was impressed by Vulikijapani. I didn't think much of him as a winger but he has done well at centre. He's been given the job of closing down plays and he's really good at it. Missile Mitch, the Javelin.

Mitch is probably our best one on one defender, also causes problems in attacks, 7 tackle busts yesterday, not the electric pace of Ratu, but very consistent player who is getting better, certainly need to tie him down for a couple of years, as could see RU making a move.
Good options at centre now with Mitch, Wynne and Scott, allows us to use Griffin the backrow.

| Not pretty on the eye but i would go as far as saying that was our most impressive win of the season so far, we kept a very good Catalans side very quiet for the majority of the match and our pack was dominant. People can label us as boring but the gritty wins at home is what this side has been missing for years. Carlos brilliant again.
Buzzing for Tag to be back out there playing, hopefully he gets a good run in the team and delivers the performances we know he's got in him.

| A really terrific defensive display by the boys, and this ultimately earned us the points, Cats were missing a few influential players and our creative is still pretty poor, but thought Evans and Reynolds had their best games so far. Ligi & big Chris setting the platform in a good solid performance. Carlos superb.
Great to see Bri Hancock bringing the ball on, and Tag and Joeys enthusiasm at the end of the game with the crowd is so welcome, and has been missed, really pleased our Tag is back.
Did anyone watch Martin Offiah on mastermind, one of his questions was, which song has the line, “and did those feet in ancient times” and which place does the song relate to”
Martin said Israel!

So he's never worked out where his nickname comes from? What a div.

| Good, disciplined win from Hull last night - the makings of a good side when they get their completion rate high.
But a lack of pace at 1, 6 and 7 is a big weakness for me.

Agree, hopefully it will be addressed next season.
