| Can't believe we didn't keep attacking Finn & Gibsons side we troubled them everytime, when Sneyd found out our weak side he kept going at it & that's the difference in a good halfback if the game structure isn't going to plan, you play what's in front of you, he will be a cracking edition to our squad for 2015. Radders should have put Ellis on Whiting side after the first try in the 2nd half for Cas. Imo

| I enjoyed last night's game for the first time in quite a while. However I still came away slightly disappointed that we managed to not win a game we had control of for 70mins. We struggle when the opposition step up a gear and just panic, we have a real collective fragility when up against it. Another 5 minutes and we'd have lost imo. I suppose one of the postives I took was the player that orchastrated the Cas revival will be playing for us next season!

| Everyone in the ground knew we wouldn't win! Never been at a game with such a subdued atmosphere when we had what should have been a winning lead with 15 minutes to go. The whole crowd was as nervous as the players

| Clear improvement last night, let's hope more to come. Lots of effort, particularly our defensive line speed which I thought was excellent, and contributed to Cas' poor handling.
As others have said, might possibly have won if we hadn't lost Rankin, but it also has to be said that we paid the price for not scoring as many as we should. Should have been at least another score in front at half time. Still worrying that Cas very much had an off night but could reel us in in 15 minutes.
Westerman looked back near his best, Paea had his best game for a fair while, and Ellis was immense.
Hauraki looked deliberate to me.
Cas fans, is James Clare any good? Every time I've seen him against Hull he's looked useless, is he always like that or does he save it for us?

In my opinion it was reckless/dangerous but not convinced it was deliberate tbh.

He was looking right at Abdull's head and then put his knee there.

| Not watched the game back yet - but how did Cas get the 20m restart when Clare dropped it in goal - they cannot say that he made that ball dead surely?

No me neither but someone near me last night said the ball touched the whitewash before he touched it!! Can't say I've seen it since though.

Technically he did, he got lucky. He had one foot over the dead ball line when he made contact with the ball. The best thing was that he fumbled it into his own face.

It was that stupid rule about putting your foot dead, and taking the ball out that Lineham used for us. Only difference being that Tom kept hold of the ball.

| Quote wudmansir="wudmansir"Enjoyed the game tonight bags of effort from the boys yet again a little bit of game management would have got us the win hoping syned brings that to the club. Would have preferred feka to Thompson on the bench just feel feka brings more power and aggression. Dissapointing to see lineham again get caught out not quite sure if it's a fitness issue or a confidence issue or maybe both?? Need to improve more nxt week as improved as it was play like that against saints we will get well turned over.'"
I agree about Lineham. All of their tries were scored down our right side and, strangely enough, all of ours were scored down their right. I'm sure its something that will be looked at, but as you say Lineham does not look as fit as previously.
