“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

A more interesting suggestion, and one that would gain Hull FC widespread respect throughout the sporting world, would be to offer a replay at the KC with all gate receipts going to charity. The publicity this would receive for Hull FC and the game in general would be massive. Exiles weekend perhaps?'"
I wonder if your coaching staff and players have moved on and are focused on Bradford and aren't still banging on about the derby like the fans are.

I've just seen that picture. He needs to give up the rugby and become an olympic sprinter if he covered that distance from a standing start from an on-side position.

I thought at the time Hall had to be offside, he was stood in our attacking line as soon as the ball had been played.

Had a good look at the footage again last night. Hall is at least a metre offside when the ball is played (easy to spot as he should have been behind his try line) and the pass for Brown's try is clearly forward.
So we win either way.

The irony being, if McDonnell hadn't tackled Hall and he scored on that play, then no doubt it would have been referred 'upstairs' and itt would've been chalked off by the video ref, (probably )

Saying that, I'm watching last night's Boots N All, and they're discussing Gaskell's interception try against Widnes.
Jon Sharp has basically said,
[i"We haven't refered interceptions to the video referee since 2006, when the referees went full time. If there is a player offside from an interception, it doesn't go to the VR, unless the touch judge intervenes."[/i.
Bomber chipped in and said he thinks every interception should go to the VR, so if that was the case, Hall's try would've obviously been disallowed, as would Gaskell's.
Begs the question, why didn't the touch judges spot either of them?

Not going by what Jon Sharp said on Boots 'n all this week.
Some sort of agreement amongst refs (here and in Oz) that interception tries will NOT be referred to the Video Ref.

Touch judges need a big kick up the 'arris and start taking some responsibility and getting involved in the game.
Too much is left to the refereee for me whilst touch judges do next to nowt.
