Tbh I havent seen G.Horne show much hint of passion and I also don't feel he is really committed either. Plus, it does seem that Agar has something against Hall so why would he want to show much passion or commitment? I feel under Sharp he showed alot of passion and commitment

Because he cant tackle. Leaking in tries at the moment and Hall doesn't help

Halls defence isn't too bad, it never was too bad he was just a bit inconsistant. He was, and still is, young and if you want to get the best out of young players you have to give them time to learn. Hall was getting this under Sharp but not under Agar. With or without Hall, we still leak in trys. Our heaviest defeat this season was when Hall wasn't even playing

Agree, he is still young and needs time to learn. He really does need a centre to learn off. But defensivley he is soft and because of that maybe thats why he may just miss out on becoming the player he has the potential to be. Maybe thats why he was kept out of the Saints game? Also think he aint had chance to settle in a position (like one or two of the players) centre, wing, full back he's played. Suprised he anit proped yet hehe. Stick him in the centres and leave him there to develop. Comes back to the point of poor coaching.

I'm not sure why he was dropped at Saints, but I seriously doubt it was because of poor defence as I don't think the problems he has had at fullback are down to that. The fcat he dropped him for Thorman to move to fullback is an absolute joke of a move.
Teams can accomodate defensively weak players into their team. Hall wasn't too bad in defence anyway, just inconsistant. Others in the team can make up that downfall. Also, he isn't the type of player who will score a try but cost you two. He is the type of player who can get you 2 or 3 trys a game and now and again cost you one

IMO Saint would have targeted him. Maybe his confidence was low and Saints would have pinpointed that either with kicks or big Puletua running at him. Thorman at full back is tried and tested in a way and feel the Saints game was damage limitation for Agar. But agree, ball in hand Hall is a wonderful player.

For Puletua to run at Hall he would have to break through the line first (although that wasn't hard for Sts that day I admit!)
Thorman at fullback is tried and tested and was one of the worst decisions Jon Sharp made and is now one of the worst decisions Agar made imo

I think the fact that Jon Sharp played him at FB rather than 7 at Huddersfield says everything. If he wasn't a good enough 7 then why should he be good enough for us...

I think the fact they got rid of him and not Brown and Robinson who imo are very average halfbacks is also a big indicator

Thats what I mean. Carney was coming over so they offloaded him instead of Brown or Robinson
