Good job the weathers been dry or the pitch could well have been worse than a ploughed field. That said whoever thought it was a good idea to gave two concerts and a SL derby all in the same week needs to give their head a wobble.
Hopefully regardless of the result we won’t pick up any injuries attributed to a poor pitch.
Looks to be a warm dry game day.
Hopefully we’ll see the same level of performance, line speed and intensity we saw against St’s in the league game.

Squads out. We should I think. Interesting to see across the two squads there is:
9 fc academy graduates
4 rovers academy graduates.
That’s with us missing Litten and McNamara and then missing Abdul.
I’m also hoping the investment in our academy pays dividends. It’s the way forward

Maybe Smiths less intense pre season is starting to show benefits, we started slow but We're slowly building into the season and hopefully will keep on improving instead of declining like we normally do around this time of year. |
