“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

We prefer haddock actually. As for losing,we lost the game by making 2 massive errors just when we had got back in the game and had you under pressure.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "Great summary. Question is whether we'll be stronger next year - I would hope we will be via both solid recruitment and valuable experience for our U19s at SL level. If so, can we move up from 7-8 to push up to 5-6 against Huddersfield, Wire, Cas?'"
The Radford topic has been done to death so I'll keep my comments brief, without a better coach, even with the promising signings we have made, we will continue to bobble about in the mid-table and not be in contention for the top 4.
I will praise him for the work ethic he has instilled in the team, the effort is clearly there every week, but a better coach will get that extra bit of class out of the players and get a few more wins on the board. Hopefully as the time runs out on his contract it'll cost Pearson less and less to get rid and he'll see sense.

cartoons/WB17.gif I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.
Money doesn't talk it swears, Obscenity who really cares, Propaganda all is phony.
I'm the son and heir of a shyness which is criminally vulgar.

My thoughts as well. Without wanting to turn this into yet another Radford thread, the best coaches have an ability to find an extra 10% from the playing roster at their disposal. I'm still to be convinced that Lee has that in his locker.
Even with an improved squad I still believe there are other areas in the club structure which require attention before real progress is made.

TBF we didn't exactly cover ourselves in glory either for Shaul's long range try when we had the ball down your end that allowed you to close the gap again.

You're a halfwit troll, coming on here after your team has won again. Besides Codheads come from Grimsby, Gulls come from Hull. I bet you were one of the idiots singing the infamous "Going down with your trawlers". You wonder why the family of Rugby League hates Leeds. I'll be hoping The Dobbins do you and I have less regard for them.

Exactly
Could you see Radfords ways making the improvement that Brian Smith has made at Wakefield?
If Pearson had spent money on a good coach for next season it would have a lot more impact on increasing pass sales than any of the current signings for next season.

You mean improved by beating us then losing four in a row before a couple of wins against Championship clubs and by conceding 248 points in eight games?

You forgot the eleven signings they've made since he arrived.

| How can you not discuss the coach when he is central to everything relating to on field performance and much that goes on off the field?
So because some forummers don't like the fact others want to discuss our coach and the direct effect he has on the team (good/bad/indifferent) we should have just one thread to discuss that, that's not how open forums work.
A thread that talks about X player leaving will end up with the coach being discussed because of what happened live on air.
A thread that discusses signings ends with talk about the coach.
A thread that discusses why X player has being left out of the team will end up with the coach being talked about as that coach openly bullied/embarrassesd on live radio that player and tries to cover his tracks.
A thread talking about why X player remains in the starting 13 despite being not good enough (consistently so) has the coach being mentioned as they are known to be personal friends.
A thread that talks about use of substitutes/rotation ends up with the coach being talked about
A thread that talks about lack of basic skills/backing up, not being good enough in the final 20m or the changes in attack that show we can be good enough in the final 20 and yet the following week go back to being not good enough are inevitably going to have the coach being discussed as to why these things happen.
Many threads drift, that Radford is so very central to everything isn't thread drift, it's just a fact that he is such a huge integral part of the club and how we perform which is what ultimately matters to all of us

I like the U19s thread. It's positive and Radford as head coach is never breathed or afforded the slightest credit.
