I’m probably a bit bitter on missing out on Rowley but if you had the choice between somebody who’s got Salford overachieving or somebody who’s been assistant at some very successful clubs + NSW and previously done well with a newly formed club surely you’d want the latter?

I am warning you this has Small club mentality written all over it, we won the Steve prescott trophy last year against the then world champions but its not a major trophy (no disrespect intended to Steve Prescott, Clive Sullivan et al) so we didn't really bother other than the 2 competition points.
