It's an almost a copy of the Wigan model. Invest massively in youth n in the top positions have wane, deacon, radlinsky all local boys.

Well, let's hope for a similar end.
I dread to think where pass sales will go if we're here again in two years!

| Regardless of the performances on pitch, from Pearsons point of view I'd have thought 2013 will have been a bit of a bumper year cash wise.
There's lots of changes seemingly afoot but that is most likely from a pride point of view (pleasing how he has become passionate about us), looking a right twonk on the telly (no one likes that), and to placate the fans. On the last point I'm not so sure it's the right strategy but you can see his thinking "get rid of the perceived overseas big earners who havent brought success and go down the local lads for local fans" route. Time will tell but apart from trying to keep pass sales up for next season I wouldn't have thought IMO there's much more financial reasons driving his thinking.

Paea? Or are we forgetting about him to suit arguments?

| As a club taking over £5mill a year we have no reason to cut costs, because guess what, our salary cap is the same as Wire, their income is £6mill+. And the same as Salford, whos income must be sub £4mill

| I think AP made himself a hostage to fortune when he took over with all the talk of challenging for trophies within 2-3 years, top 4 finishes and the club's PR department hyping up everything.
He would have been better off saying the club was in a right state and it would take years of rebuilding to get us where we wanted to be.
He raised our expectations when he should have asked us to be patient.

Just because Paea was the only 'reasonable' forward available doesn't make him a legend in waiting. He's had a decent season but nothing more and hes foreign unlike Morley, Peacock, Mossop or Crabtree. All the top sides have a a top forward leading the pack too and Paea isn't on a par with those four

Perhaps Adam knows theres going to be a big drop in season ticket sales then factor in the poor signings of Thompson and Feka who cant be on much and its all becoming a little fishy if you ask me.'"
It's always a little "fishy in Hull"
