I wouldn't sign the petition as it stands but I would if it was reworded to RG's text and if the joke/multiple signatures were removed.

I'd stick to a very general statement about how the off-field set up is not being matched by results (and performances) on the field and how Agar seems unable to get the best out of a decent group of players.
I've never drafted a petition before, but I'd go something along these linesWe, the undersigned, wish to petition for the immediate removal of Richard Agar from his position as Head Coach of Hull FC. We do so on the following grounds
That's just off the top of my head and others might have a better idea of how it ought to be structured than I. Any input is welcome...'"
Very good.  I might add that we've not won a play-off game since 2007, that's all. |

Very well structured and an excellent explanation of RA's failings, I have never been a coach knocker, but last weekend I made the comment about our second half performance being akin to previous second half performances when coaches have gone the following week and Friday night just hurt like hell and I really can't see any improvement without a new broom to ring the changes. |

Im filtering some of the fake and duplicate signatures now aswell.
I'll do as many as possible, although it would be better to filter through them towards the end of the petition, that way it's not a constant task.

I think it's a pertinent point that ComeOnYouUll raised - you need to keep an eye on who's signing it and what they're putting in their comments. Stuff like 'feckin baffoon' (sic) and 'sh*te coach' will you no favours when it comes to submitting it to the board (if you're serious about doing that). Something with fewer signatures but nothing abusive will be far better received, I reckon.

Good effort guys. Was thinking if all those with mobile phones or email access sent a message out with the petition site address and asked them to forward it on etc, I'm sure it would increase the hit rates and potential signitures to the site. Not sure if it would go viral around Hull but worth a pop.

I just edited the petition and put near the sign signature box :
WE Welcome comments, but those that are just slanderous, contain swearing or abusive language will be deleted, please keep it respectable guys.

Not a bad shout, that.
I reckon that a good 2000 signatures will be needed before it carries any weight. That's 2000 proper signatures after all the crap has been deleted. |

I'd be more tempted to do it on a daily basis. That way, you won't have to wade through pages and pages of stuff right at the end. The more you have to do at once, the more chance you'll miss something. |

Done mine. On the back of this thought it may be worth setting up a 'Rallying Call' template so people can simply copy n paste to a text or email. Cough, cough Wiiilllllffffff....cough, cough  |
