Pic must have been taken before the Championship play off against Trinity as Bateson was injured in a clash with Rocky Turner and had to miss the Cup Final the following weeks.

Third from left deffo Colin Cole 6'4", Colin Cooper was about 5'10" as I remember certainly no more than that. Tom Sutton was big and in his 30's when he joined from Rovers and the extreme left player fits that bill.
As far as extreme right front row is concerned my records show that these may fit the bill.
Holgate as stated, Brian Hambling (I don't think), Jim Lawson (quite possible) or Walters, a reserve hooker.

Agree Cole not Cooper - Tommy Sutton at the end of top row. And yes Bill Dalton will know. He is the man.

I remember that team, unfortunately i cannot remember all the names. However, apart from Mick Scott (who was my all time favourite Hull FC player,) i would hazard a guess that i am the only member of this forum who has all their autographs
